Visited this store on the morning of Saturday 23 November 2024. Not a single checkout opened, self scan only. I visited to do some shopping, not be the checkout assistant as well. If I wanted an additional job I'd have applied for one. Complete lack of customer focus. Profits before people at this store.
Great to be getting a monthly or a weekly shop with competitive pricing offer a range of own branded to branded products. There offer seasonal ranges for the likes of Easter, Halloween and Christmas. There is a cafe which serves hot and cold food closed currently due to pandemic. They have disabled car parking within a carpark with sufficient spaces. There is a petrol station .
Was in the Livingston branch today Friday 20/09/24 to find 1 manned checkout available with a large queue and only scan tills open. Because I had 1 pack of Ibuprofen the red light stopped my purchase and needed authorisation. I waited a full 8 to 10 mins before an assistant came to the area and by that time several other shoppers were needing attention. When the assistant arrived they took no notice of who had been there the longest and proceeded to start at the nearest till despite my till being the only one with a red light on. Can I simply ask if you are to continue using these self strive tills that you staff accordingly to ensure prompt through put.
