My wife and I have been using this store regularly for last three months and have always found what we need . we are generally pleased with the quality of goods on offer and the staff are both friendly and helpful . Larger families may not find all they need as this is a smaller supermarket and most people now are used to supermarkets the size of aircraft hangers . It has a great deli counter and again quality is good . Petrol is a little more expensive but at least the air is free if you feel inclined to check your tyre pressure ! . Purchased an excellent Blaupunkt DVD player recently at a bargain £26 . Free cash machines outside as well .

Not a huge supermarket as they go but serves Dawlish as the only one represented by the big players. Fuel is always expensive compared with prices at Morrison's in nearby Teignmouth. Not a huge selection of products but most every day items available. Not many bargains even when shopping towards the end of a day but staff are generally pleasant and helpful. As Dawlish and Dawlish Warren are seasonal resorts, expect many more holiday makers during the summer holidays.

Waited at the service desk whilst 2 colleagues discussed paying NI stamp then logged on to system as one was returning clothes I appreciate they need to return items like us all but dont keep other customers waiting x

With its own petrol station and large free car park, this Sainsburys is just a little way down the road ( 5mins ) walking from Lady's Mile and Golden Sands holiday parks. it has everything you would expect from Sainsburys, fruit and vegetables, meat, dairy and bakery products along with a large range of traditional groceries and frozen food, and also a good range of electrical items for the home. We found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable, even the guy on trolley collections had a smile for us. The staff at the checkouts were quick and efficient, we paid up, and we were on our way. ps if you find this review helpful, please give it a 👍

This is a great local supermarket. It's not a bifocal as some Sainsbury's so it doesn't carry every line. But it has most of what you need. It dies get busy in the holiday season due to the caravan parks nearby.
