I come here at least once a week for my regular shopping. There’s a Tesco Express a little closer to me, but the Co-op has a much wider variety and fantastically friendlier staff. The only reason this place doesn’t get a perfect five stars is because the fresh fruit and vegetables are consistently mouldy, smashed or too far gone to eat. The number of times I’ve picked up a box of grapes only to spot they’re literally furry… it’s just gross. I’ve talked to the staff about it, and they really do care. Sadly, they can’t control the produce they receive, and they rely on customers to help find the problems. But that said, their non-perishable goods are great, and their fresh-baked rolls are my favourite in the town centre!

Good quality food for the price. Great reduced offers if you can catch them. But spit and sawdust. Regularly short of cashier's at busy times

Good range of products in general, although for the size of the store I would like to see more vegetarian and vegan options especially in their frozen section. Otherwise, staff are very helpful and friendly and they are quick to call more staff to the tills when it's busy.
