It took me a while to warm to Sainsburys. It was my wife that always prefered to go but I must say, the range of products here and prices have really improved over the last year or so. The budget range means you can now just pop in and pick a few things up without spending a fortune. The location is good and the car park always has spaces. The fair prices and times mean you can nip into town too.
Be very careful if you are parking here, the machine says parking charges apply Monday to Saturday 8.00 to 18.00 and Sunday 11.00 to 17.00. We parked at 18.48 on a Sunday and got a Parking Charge Notice through the post for £85!nAlthough the information on the machine states the times when you must pay for parking the signs say you are only allowed to park for 10 minutes when the store is closed. Very sneaky.
Always have to queue at the cash machines, only two takes cash. Plus always use smart shop, supposed to be quickernNobody else seems to use it. Which usually means being stuck behind someone slowly scanning loads of items. Why don't they have a special till just for smart shop like other Sainsbury's
As a Supermarket it's quite good. Though it did look a bit rough inside. Not overly clean. Staff were nice though
Great location. Well laid out, with plenty of stock available. The staff was friendly. They have toilets. Fantastic buying experience at fantastic prices. Highly recommended!
