Did my weekly shop this morning as I have done over the past 25 years and visited the bakery counter to have bread sliced. After waiting 10 mins with no member of staff to be seen a very kind member of staff said that she would kindly find out for me what was happening. Shortly after this an announcement was made over the tannoy for a member of staff to go to the bakery counter. Waited another 10 minutes nothing happened so managed to catch one of the managers who told me there was nobody on the counter from 11am till 4pm!! He then told me that he would find a member of staff who was trained in using the slicing machine. A lovely young man did come to the counter but then had to go and find a particular kind of hat that was needed!! At this point myself and 3 other customers gave up and left. I also mentioned to the manager that it would be a good idea to put a notice up to let customers know there was no staff on the counter but was then told they weren't allowed to do this!!! Unbelievable!! This is a store I shop at 3-4 times a week and know many of the staff well and always find them extremely helpful and friendly but I think management are taking advantage of them too much now by cutting back. Very poor customer service this morning Sainsbury's!!
Fantastic service and friendly staff - I’ve shopped there for over 30 years - today was busy as it’s Good Friday tomorrow - most tills on - pleasant staff as always - shelves mostly full - fruit and veg top quality- in and out with a full shop in under a hour 5

Would not recommend taking children under the age of 18 as a staff member had inappropriate videos and some how still works there he told my friend she only got the job because he fancied her
This is a supermarket, it sells a wide variety of things from foodstuffs to alcohol and clothes. It also has an Argos. You pick up your orders there for clothing too.its at the back left of the store.
Good quality fresh foods and prices aren't too bad.. I like the layout of the store and the staff our friendly
Available is poor at times and their range isn't like it used to be. Come on Sainsbury's, you can do better.
Lots of choice large carpark. Some good offers.
Well used supermarket but sadly suffering from poorly stocked shelves, tatty display units and general untidiness. Can’t be relied upon anymore for your full shop - although its cheaper than it used to be if they have it in stock that is.
I have shopped there for over 30 years..why are there so many items OOS??? 50% of what I needed today are not available!!!!
