A really big well Stocked supermarket with easy parking safe and convenient. Located close to A1 at Team Valley which at moment can be a bit of a pain due to the road improvements that are ongoing. The supermarket also has a fuel station if you need fuel or anything that requires a quick shop. However I don't use supermarket fuels as I prefer a oil company fuel.
Always good value staff are great. I'm disappointed though, that most of the home section is now Habitat, which tends to be more expensive and very few if any 'value/basic' items. Also the magazines appear to be diminishing.
We went to look at baby clothes were a bit disappointed in the choice. But the lady at the door promoting nectar cards was lovely and helpful as was a lady called Miriam at the till when we had a problem.
I was shopping today and we bought 2 yogurt it was going to be expired on 4/3/23 and it was written on the label best used before 4/3/23 .and they were on reduced price.When we went home and I opened one of them you could see or ready expired and not good to use it was smelling and contaminated. I was lucky i had the recipe with me. I went to return them i went to costumer service and i explained the issue and she was telling me anything on the freezer not refundable and she was telling me its our policy. I told her can you please show me where is written that and she was telling me it’s on our website! I have told her every time costumer’s needs to check the website before buying it what jocks. She had to call the manager to get advice and her manager agreed to refund the payment but guess what when she was scanning the goods to refund my payment she find out one of them fully charged . When she finished and refund the money I told i need talk to your manager. Manager came I told him the story about the product and over charged he was not interested my explanation and not helpful. Really disappointed with Sainsbury needs some training and costumer knowledge. The girl who was serving me at costumer service she was not nice and very rude .
Love this store. I can get a free bus here and then use Smart shop in-store. Very handy for counting the pennies in the current climate.
A decent supermarket the only thing that worries me is the car park. People drive about this car park like the wacky races. Shooting over parking places just to get a quick exit. One of these days there will be a nasty accident.
Sainsburys tend to have everything you want. Their problem is competing with lidl and Aldi on price. Staff never hurried and especially the pharmacy at team valley. The staff at Lloyds pharmacy are absolutely amazing. No matter what the problem is they move heaven and earth to solve the issue. Even get good humour from them. Best part of sainsbury's.
That place also cheap for fuel . Big and nice car park . Food things . Nice and easy location
Good range of stock particularly fruit, veg and store made bread. Staff stood by and watched another customer verbally abuse me, they were at fault, I happened to be in the queue. I was so shaken I didn't return for weeks.
Plenty of parking. Good quality food. Great now many price matched v Aldi. Only bad thing A1 Works making it a nightmare getting out.
