Most pleasant dental extraction ever! The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. And the 2 ladies in the surgery were just as lovely. They all made me feel welcome and at ease. An absolute credit to the NHS. I waited 1 hour on the phone to get an appointment and half an hour in the waiting room, but I don't mind because I'm pain free now thanks to these lovely ladies and their service. If only more people were this nice.
Yes! They're busy, yes its a bit of a job to get through on the phone. BUT the service is 2nd to none. The staff here are doing the best they can given the high demand for NHS dentists. I suffer with anxiety especially when it comes to visiting the dentist. The women made me feel so comfortable and at ease. By far the least terrifying visit I've had to the dentist!
I've never known a phone service so bad in all my life absolute joke stay in the queue if you want wait for 3 hours then the phone go down
Absolutely fabulous service. Yes I had to hold for a while but when you’re in that much pain you’ll hold as long as it takes to be seen. I was seen on 8/4/22, I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who was efficient and informative, then taken to see a lovely dentist and dental nurse, unfortunately did not get their names, the dentist was so gentle and considerate and the dental nurse so helpful.
Useless, changed they queuing system so that you can't even wait in a queue to speak to someone. They just say they are busy and hang up. Why can't people get signed on to a NHS dentist, like we are supposed too? This is appalling and forces people to go private to get any kind of treatment. Or perhaps this is exactly what's intended by our 'government'
Absolutely impossible to get an answer from the so called helpline. Tried three times this morning and everytime I get put on hold for twenty minutes then cut off?
I was on the phone needing to speak to someone about a tooth abscess. I was on hold for an hour and when the person on the other end answered, they didn't say hello. All I heard was the phone rumbling and then they hung up... Honestly it's shocking. I work in healthcare myself and that type of service just is not acceptable. I ended up going private and it cost a fortune but if I wasn't in a position to do so i was potentially dealing with a life treating illness and someone does not seem to know how to use a phone to triage me. No wonder A&E is full and wards are full because community services like this are letting the hospitals down. Not good enough.
The queueing system is really really bad and pathetic, I feel like the staff aren’t doing their job right.The HR needs to review this, it’s really bad and embarrassing, people who are willing to do their job right should be hired not lazy ones.
I was waiting in the queue for the emergency dentist for 1 hour got to number 1 the phone started rumbling and making this terrible sound then it just disconnected/someone hung up. When i tried to call back an automated message said they were busy call back later but then later they didnt pick up and there's no appointments left for the day
After being referred by NHS 111, tried to ring according to voice machine there were 10 people in the queue, 1 hour 45 minutes later I was 5th. Had to put phone down cause I could not handle anymore. Utterly ridiculous. I GET ITS BUSY BUT NOT LIKE 5 PEOPLE TO SORT OUT IN TWO HOURS. AND I BET IT WAS SAME AS ME PEOPLE JUST PUT PHONES DOWN.
