Took my narrowboat alternator there to have it checked over after some intermittent charging problems it was fine. Top notch service with the testing being done there and then. Really helpful guys chatted to me about all the connections, what they did and where they went, along with giving me several ideas as to how to track down the fault. So helpful, and charged me nothing! Great customer service and I'll always use S&C now for any alternator services I need. Highly recommended

Have used Steve for over 30years and always best service from him. And he is a local business.

For anyone looking for alternator or starter motor repairs, I highly recommend this guy. He completely rebuild my 30 year old Lucas starter for a fraction of the price of a replacement. Very knowledgeable and friendly too.
