Good selection of shoes & took advice on calf issues. Bought the pair of On's recommended to me and a set of compression socks that have proved to be my buy of the year.

Found them unhelpful when trying to find a specific pair of brooks running shoes which they did not have in stock but brooks did...all they had to do was put the order in with brooks. Ended up going to Runners World instead who made the order no questions asked. If you want to run happy I would avoid these guys.

Poor selection of trainers. Moreover they suggested to me a very bad pair of asics (the ones that they had in the shop). The running test is nothing more than a simple run, don't assume that there is a expert analysing your running style and able to change the type of trainers according to your feet. It's all up to you and, obviously, you can't say if they are good for you in less than 10 minutes. You should at least lace them up a try a running session. Poor and embarassing running test, poor shoes. Really nothing good about it. It was such a waste of money.

A really unpleasant experience - I would have given this place zero stars if possible... I came in today, politely trying to return trainers that were slightly too small, bought from a different branch. These trainers were bought only 2 days ago, unworn outdoors, in perfect condition, with all tags on and I had a receipt, and was rudely told "No, we can't take them back because you don't have a box." I was sold them without a box and surely, as a shoe shop, you keep some spare boxes?! I suggested this was a ridiculous (and also frankly, illegal) policy, but the exceptionally brusque woman serving was dismissive and unwilling to help at all. I went to look at what other shoes were available, in case I might be able to swap, and the same surly woman then grudgingly came over, and first suggested I could return them if I bought the exact same pair so she could swap the boxes (why would I buy the same, too small trainers again? Logical!), then said as if she was accusing me, I should never have been sold this brand (Asics) in the first place as they tended to run small. She made token effort to measure my feet and brought out another size in a different brand, but swiftly disappeared with these trainers that did actually fit, and no offer of any further help when I said I'd probably I'd have to return the first pair before buying any more if they couldn't do an exchange. So I'll be returning the original shoes to the original branch, getting a complete refund, and never shopping in Runners Need again. Customer service, not to mention legal return polices, and even basic logic are completely alien concepts to the staff in this branch. Finally, I'd recommend maybe getting your gait measures at one of these shops (they seem to be able to manage that in other branches at least), then trying a shop called 'Achilles Heel' online instead for better prices and infinitely better customer service.
