A picturesque park offering a quiet place to sit or stroll, right alongside the tranquil waters of the city harbour.
The old church remains. Still nice surroundingsVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
A well-preserved church that suffered damage during the Second World War, the church is a landmark of Bristol and is an integral part of what makes Castle Park such a lovely place to visit. I haven't had the honour of going inside the grounds of the church as of yet.
Great architecture but has a really strong Christian theme to the decor with lots of crosses / pictures of Jesus E.T.C. found this a bit off putting tbh. Some more soft furnishings and mellow tones would really set the space off and make it more accessible. The furniture situation generally was very rigid with all the seats looking quite uncomfortable and overly uniform. Who ever came up with the seating plan needs to relax and realise that maximising seats doesn't necessarily make for a good ambience.
Pretty ruin of a church located in beautiful castle park. It doesn't stand out but it's nice addition with plenty of flowers surrounding it, also it is nice place to sit down and relax even though you are right next to The Galleries and Cabbot Circus.
A beautiful church surrounding by a lovely scenic park.
Grade II listed, originally built in the 15th century this bombed out ruin is maintained as a memorial to the Bristol Blitz.
Its a nice green space and great for picnics and outdoor games. Lovely gardens behind the church. Also you will find pokemon hunters here.
Good place but you can't enter at least when I was there.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
Evocative ruin of a 'blitzed' church. Also plaques to the lost citizens of Bristol in the wartime years.
