Great place for short/medium walks. HQ of RSPB so you would be right to expect it's a good place for bird watching. There's a hide and an information centre as well as a shop. There is an interesting hill fort to walk up and an ancient Iron-rich cliff called a gallery. Overall: if you like nature there is stuff to see here and if you go regularly you can enjoy the constant improvements being made over time.

A great place to go. Saw hobby on nest which was highlight. Loads of other birds and fantastic amount of dragonflies. Staff informative and basic amenities. A good whole day visit.

A beautiful place with some lovely walks. Great opportunities for seeing plenty of birds and other wildlife. Looking forward to going back in summer. Parking is free for RSPB members or £5.00 for non members in a pay and display car park.

A hidden gem in Bedfordshire! An absolutely lovely place to go for a walk. The surroundings are beautiful. You would never know where you are. Lots of wildlife, and a nice shop & cafe.

Extraordinary Oasis of nature (cleverly managed), in the midst of Bedfordshire. Worth a visit for the lodge gardens, and the variety of walks through forest and heathland. The birds, which are of course the main attraction, are in abundance and can make it fun for youngsters.
