Loved our stay! A characterful pub with an extremely friendly and welcoming team. We arrived at 10.30pm having walked Offas Dyke all day and the AMAZING bar lady made us a ham sandwich before bed. What a hero!!!
I will always stay here when in the area. Fantastic welcome from the locals in the pub. Sue the landlady was so welcoming and the staff were too. Lovely nettle the pub dog gave me many cuddles aswell as other dogs that are also welcomed here. Fantastic breakfast was gratefully received. One of the best stays I have ever had.
I was in the only single room available. I had to keep the bathroom door open because my knee don't fit. The douche gel was not restored the second and third day. On the bright side the wonderful breakfast, either the continental and the English. The room was nice, enough space for one person and the bed hard but not too much.
Lovely food, clearly homemade, and not too salty. It’s been a long time since I had ribs this good! And the chips that came with them were fantastic
