I stayed for two nights at Susan Robson's delightful B&B. From the moment I entered De Lacy House, after a long journey by air and road, I was treated to tea and delicious cakes and biscuits, and made to feel entirely at home. Susan's breakfasts are every bit as good as a 5-star hotel with a delicious fresh-fruit salad, fresh yoghurt and cereals, as well as a delicious full English breakfast! Her advice about walks around Kington and places to eat in the town were most helpful. The room I had was very bright, quiet and with a pleasant view. It had an on-suite bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. The comfortable twin beds used ironed linen. Everything was spotlessly clean and inviting. I highly recommend De Lacy House as long as Susan stays in charge!
