The Burton Hotel Hereford is an attractively modernised coaching inn set in the heart of a small market town near the Welsh border. Took a Service User to the Burton for a birthday treat. The Burton is a clean, well kempt establishment with attentive staff. We had the most wonderful meal. The lamb rump was cooked to perfection & served with delicious accompaniments full of flavour. My Service User enjoyed her Scampi too. We both had sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce & rum & raisin ice cream. The pudding was moist & the butterscotch sauce was divine, plentiful portion too. Accessibility to the Burton is ideal for large wheelchair users. Really do recommend this pub, I look to return in my own free time.
We had a really lovely stay here as part of a riding holiday with Free Rein. The food was tasty and hearty, the room was generously sized and the bath was lovely! Most of all, the staff were just so welcoming to us. We were served by Laura for dinner who was just a wonderfully kind and warm to us - thank you for taking such good care of us and making our dinner even happier :
I had my 70th birthday lunch party at The Burton Hotel, with a large number of people either eating or coming after lunch for a drink and cake. Some guests stayed at the hotel for the weekend. I couldn't fault the occasion. Jana was efficient and organised, and made sure everything went smoothly. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. I can certainly recommend for special occasions.
Visited for a birthday lunch with a large group - the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had young children with us so they found us a space where the kids could play without disturbing the other guests. They kept checking on us during our meal and there was copious amounts of food. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed and making the party such a success.
We stopped here for dinner. staff, food and customers were all terrific. We were hungry tired and made to feel welcome. The food was great xxx
