Great menu with loads of choice. Very cheap and the food was excellent, there are home cooked options on the menu too.nI had the homemade Corned Beef pie with boiled potatoes and gravy, which was delicious. My mate had the curry half and half, which was also delicious.nStaff were friendly and helpful, and the pub had a good local feel to it.nHave eaten here once before and will definitely return again.
Nice old style pub with excellent deals and great service. Lots of little nooks to sit in.nnThese 4 meals with 2 pints of beer and 2 soft drinks was around £52.
My family visited the pub for dinner in the summer holiday. We had Welsh chicken and beef curries, a chicken bugger and cheese cake. The foods are very good and the amount is very generous. Staff are so friendly, so we feel warm welcome. We will definitely come back next time!
Fantastic little pub, had the Sunday lunch and was beautiful! All four of us really enjoyed the food and lovely atmosphere, managed to squeeze Dow a desert which was amazing! Will certainly be visiting again.
So, it was peeing with rain & we went into Saltwater Inn. Owner says, you can only have a drink out in the rain as we are full serving food. Aye right ! Quick check on google and we try the Royal Oak. Absolute gem of a pub. Real ale & cider on tap, locals welcoming and had a great chit chat surrounded by Welsh rugby jerseys. Every cloud as it says….
