Very impressive selection of whiskies from around the world in a charming old setting. On this visit I was looking for unusual craft beers and I was very pleased to find a wide selection including several breweries I hadn't seen before. They were very well priced considering the strength of some of the beers. Will certainly be back for whiskey in the future.
Absolutley fantastic array of.high quality drinks.
I felt a bit foolish as a total rookie walking in looking for a few bottles to take back as gifts. The attendant was extremely helpful and kind, giving a few suggestions and waiting patiently while I researched to see if I could get these bottles in the States. The shop was nicely laid out with options in all price points. I was happy to be able to take back two bottles that pleased my enthusiast family members.
An exceptional shop for spirit lovers. Providing a vast selection of whiskies and other spirits. There is an array of gift ideas and some books for drink connoisseurs. The staff are very knowledgeable and can provide you with assistance for your buying needs. Certainly, different from your local wine merchants with a higher class of products and service.
Last month I was desperately looking for a specific whisky for a 30th birthday. They not only had it but also for a very fair price . They were very helpful and friendly on top of that. Their store is small but full of little treasures. Would definitely recommend this store .. it was the best whisky or better said liquid store I have ever been to.
These guys really know their top shelf. Impressive knowledge on an impressive selection. Great to see an excellent selection of the best craft beers too. Just need natural wine now and we're set!
Very helpful knowledgeable staff. Great whisky selection. But I visit for the craft beers. They have a good range of these centering, but not exclusively, on Scotland and London.
Excellent and reasonably priced for anywhere in the country whisky shop, specialising in breadth rather than depth which ensures that there is something for every palate and price point, along with a splash of other spirits and brews. Of great benefit is the wide selection of miniatures which allow people to try for a reasonable amount a whisky before committing to several hundreds of pounds.
Good range and as good prices for whisky as you'll find anywhere, online and off. I come here often. They even play good music in the shop. My only gripe is some of the staff could be a bit more cheerful.
Very disappointed service while visiting the store I brought two bottles of Glenrothes 2004 . I payed to have the bottles posted as not to carry round London. When bottles arrived they were well packed but did not have original packaging which comes from the Distillery. When I phoned I was told that only come with bottle only. Which I know not to be true. Which I believe will devalue there price in future and I feel they try to pull the wool over my eyes .I will avoid this shop in future.
