There aren’t enough good things I can say about my experience here. It’s all my friends have been talking about. Not only was it the best whiskey experience we’ve had. It was a highlight of our London trip, period. Sean S., our host, was awesome. Super knowledgeable and down to earth. It felt like sharing a dram with a friend. We had a blast and are recommending it to all of our friends and family. Whether you’re a whiskey enthusiast, or a casual drinker who wants to learn more about it, you shouldn’t skip this experience. It’s a must!
Had a great tasting experience with Seán who was knowledgeable and welcoming! I learnt and experienced new stuff from the various whiskies during the tasting! Looking forward to visiting them again in the future!
Thanks to Luc for hosting an instructive tasting. I learned a lot and the time just flew by. We enjoyed some excellent drams, can't wait to go back
Really enjoyed our tasting with Brian. He was very knowledgable and really dived in to all aspects of the whisky we were tasting and the nuances of making whisky. I can't recommend this highly enough.
This is not your run of the mill bottle shop, in the best way possible! They have some core rage offerings from various distilleries, but what truly sets them apart are their own bottles, with a large selection and excellent value. Integrity bottles, cask strength and various maturations. Luke and the rest of the team there have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and it's always a pleasure to pop in and see what novelties are in stock.
I'm Japanese, and as soon as I entered the store, the staff welcomed me very warmly. When I asked for a mini bottle of Cadenheads, I was immediately directed to a place in the back, and when I told them my preferences, they gave me easy-to-understand recommendations. I was very impressed by the gentlemanly manner in which I was treated, even though I spoke only broken English. Does it taste like scotch? Of course it was perfect!
Popped in to look at some whisky with my partner. Really nice shop with a good selection of national and international whisky. The gentlemen who served on the till was lovely but there a shop assistant who just had the worst and most unhelpful attitude. Had put us off returning again.
The whisky tasting I did here with my boyfriend was fantastic and everything we hoped it would be. The host was so expert and great to talk to, I learned a lot and the setting was gorgeous. Can't recommend enough
Great for gifts for whiskey lovers. Drop in once or twice a year. Have lots of bespoke whiskeys to choose from. They have a tasting club which is £50 to join and regular tastings. Smallish shop maybe fits 20.
A fantastic experience, this is just not your average liquor store. The staff are very knowledgeable and highly engaged. The prices are very fair for the quality on offer. Our needs were taken care of by Sean I. and he was very knowledgeable and attentive, a special thanks to him and the staff. The best corner of the store is where they sell the little bottles. They might not have the entire portfolio that's available on their website. It's worth calling and checking before going in-person if you are looking for something specific. I think it's best to go there without anything specific in mind and get what fancies you the most in-person. You might get very lucky with a great find.
