Why have delivery office opening times when everyone is at work? I've lost count of how many times the opening hours have changed over the past few years. It's ridiculous, 2 hours on a Monday, seriously? The royal mail generally is rubbish these days. Recently posted a parcel, guaranteed next day delivery by 1pm, 2 weeks later it finally arrived, not so much as an apology for their incompetence!By the way as of my visit to collect a parcel today they are now closed Friday, Saturday and Sundays!
Yet again, the delivery person has failed to ring the door bell. despite there being a note on the door to do so, so I missed my delivery even though I was in the house. I'm afraid I don't sit near the front door wating for callers as you appear to believe. It was raining and the reference number on the card was written in pencil so it became illegible when it got damp though the address was in ink so obviously pre-prepared. I know it's not nice to get wet but it's one of the hazards of the job. Having to arrange a redelivery unnecessarily is not cost effective. I would suggest you allow sufficient time for your customers to get to the door before writing out a card and leaving. I'm not impressed.
The lazy person delivering mail on Beacon Hill in Cramlington on Saturday 17th of December has once again left everyone's front gate wide open. It doesn't take much of an effort to close it behind you. If this continues I'll be making an official complaint.
This year 2022 the post has lost 4 items,posted two to the wrong postcode with a similar name,two lost completely,have also lost two with the new Evri,,just don't turn up,,p.o. is very poor these days like most other Mickey mouse services.

Posties don't seem to be able to read road signs and distinguish East Farm Terrace from East Farm Court or East View Avenue. Items regularly not delivered and no cards pushed through, presumably they're in another East Farm somewhere...
delivery seems to be only 3 times a week,mon,wed and fri in my part of cram,dont know what its like elsewhere.
Staff don't have very good customer service skills. Opening hours don't suit those who work. Overall, it's pretty poor.
Opening hours aren't great for working people but still a lot better than they were a few years ago. Staff are lovely.
