Lovely little collection depot, never had any issues. The office is very small so you can be queuing outside, but staff never have issues finding parcels so the line moves quickly. Only 5 parking spaces 1 of those disabled so it can be difficult to park, but there is generally space to quickly pull in nearby. My biggest dilemma with this place is the opening hours. Different opening hours listed between Google and the royal mail website. When I went yesterday 12/08/22 they had this sign on the door with a third set of opening hours.
Staff are helpful. Never had amy problems picking up my parcel
Always very quick to get served by pleasant staff we also have a fantastic postie on our delivery never had any problems all these people moaning about times only check the official royal mail website which will be correct don't use Google or Any other searches as they don't update them and as for being slow and not leaving cards royal mail won't leave things in bins garden sheds or behind plant pots as they¹Iget paid regardless if its been delivered or dispatched and its safer to return a redelivery is free and easy to select or just be in when its expected the 1st time
They only care about tracked parcels anything else dont get delivered on time.
I've only ever had 1 problem with a delivery in itself, as it was delivered a day late because my parcel was sent to the wrong depot but I'm always having problems with the delivery staff. They're constantly walking across my front garden and climbing over the half wall to get onto the public path. They used the gate to get in, use the bloody gate to get out!
Staff friendly and helpful. New opening hours much easier for those who work to collect parcels.
What stupid opening hours. I've waited in all day for a tracked 48hr delivery that has not arrived. No wonder people use other delivery services. What was the point of paying extra for guaranteed 48hr tracked delivery. And customer services do not answer their phone I waited over 35 mins. It's time Royal Mail was closed down its an overpriced unreliable service, there are far better cheaper more reliable ways of sending small parcels. In future I shall not buy anything online that is sent by Royal Mail.
Useless...the whole royalmail system is useless, so far behind the times. Getting a parcel through them is just impossible, especially when your not in to receive it and have no idea when it's due, then, try getting it afterwards.........your whole life needs to stop in prep to hopefully be in when it's suppose to come.
Their number doesn't work. I just want them to hold post for tomorrow as I won'tbe in, and to deliver it Friday instead. But I've spent almost an hour trying to get through to customer services who don't answer! The Blyth office has a direct contact number, but apparently the Ashington one doesn't, as the telephone number used no longer works. Royal mail is the worst delivery service I have ever used. My last parcel was battered and thr cardboard had been ripped open when I looked at it. There was an item inside that was supposed to be a present, but was damaged beyond repair
Not Good service, never receive deliveries only a card even though there is note and we have phoned explaining why we CANNOT answer the back door due to disabilities.
