Quite an impressive building, I only walked around the perimeter as this is a working base, but I think it is a English Heritage property and you can book to tour it.

Prominent landmark on Plymouth's skyline built in 1666, now houses for the use of military services.
is fort. is does fort stuff. nice if youre into military stuff, bit borin if not.
Although you can walk around the outside of the fort itself, due to the fact that this is an active army base, civilians are not permitted inside.
A great part of plymouths history. I was very lucky to go and see the magnificent views from the battlements. Hope it never gets replaced.
Great for having a walk around the perimeter but working army Base so can't go inside but local area great for walks and shopping
