Absolutely pathetic ! I booked 5 days in advance a return journey from Wellington to Shrewsbury . They were late to pick us up but traffic can be an issue so 15 minutes late was not unexpected . What was unforgivable unacceptable and completely unprofessional is on calling them to let them know we were outside the arranged collection point , I was told they didn't have anyone to collect us and basically left us completely stranded . It was 10.45pm and we were 2 of around 12,000 people leaving a music festival , with minimal chance of a taxi being available for the next 2 hours . To make matters worse the woman on their switchboard said she would call me back in ten mins to see what she could arrange for us but never did , when my girlfriend rang to chase her up twenty minutes later she lied and said she told me to call her back . Still no taxi and no helpful suggestions to solve the problem her company had created . Dont bother with Royal cars if you are expecting a reliable service or don't want to be left stranded . I would hate to think children could use this company and be left high and dry . Dont take bookings if you can't fulfil them
I would like to give you some feedback on one of your cars. Last Saturday, 5th September, we booked a car for 5.30 p.m. from the Travelodge at Shawbirch. The car was unable to get to the entrance of the Travelodge, we walked over to the car on the exit road from the garage/car wash. On getting into the car, the condition and cleanliness was disgusting and I can only describe the smell as strong as vomit. We opened the car windows and mentioned this to the driver. He said it was not the car but from outside and the road. We approached our destination to find that he was only using the sat nav and that this was not sufficient to get us to our destination. We waited while he tried to call the office but eventually resorted to providing help with the directions. Not a pleasant experience and I wouldn't recommend a Royals Taxi to my friends.
Would not recommend this company- booked a taxi for 8am this morning- it arrived at 8.20! Caught our connection at Telford station with just one minute to spare- Stressful start to our day - needless to say, we will not be using them again!
Prices are cheap but Taxis tend to be late by about 10-15 mins and the driver doesn't even apologies. we pre-order are taxi for the whole week, so there is no excuse to be 10-15 minutes late.
Let me know they had no drivers 10 minutes late to when the taxi was booked for.
I book a taxi with this company and was ment two pay 180 and get a receipt two go back home and now there make out I nave paid it don't use them
very happy with the service use every day drivers very helpful and friendly would recommend to all my family and friends
