Okay place to take the kids or have a date. Lots of parking in the upper level you share with the gym then you take about 40 steps down to the entrance. 11 quid for one game for two kids which seems expensive to me. Fun new screen that puts your face on the bowling screen which made us laugh a few times with the animation. A small arcade and a Wimpy. You can have a kids birthday party there too.
Me and my friend had an amazing time at this venue, where we were booked in promptly at the reception. The stairs and carpet helped welcome us before the game, playing at a grand lane with true bowling designs! There is a proper range of bowls available, especially in different sizes, and the selfies we took for the scoreboard were used in numerous video settings on the screen. A member of staff helped us at the start when we accidentally entered too many players, also the toilets had been kept clean!

Bowling is really good here, and there are plenty of arcades upstairs to keep kids entertained. Avoid wimpy. However, as I paid £4 for the worst low quality burger, I wouldn't give to a dog. Aesthetics look very tired in places and showing its age but overall if your stuck for something to do it's definitely worth a visit.
Great place for a cheap and cheerful afternoon out. Came for my sons 12th birthday just 5 adults and 3 kids. Cost around £50, was able to book online which is a great little extra feature now. Great atmosphere, love the little videos that play with our faces on. Played a couple of arcade games, had some drinks. Great time had by all. There is the whimpy there also, if you are wanting food. I love the place its great. Will be back
Incompetent staff and unapologetic management rubbish overall experience with the party package would not recomend not worth the money. Party room dirty not usable awful drainage smell in there. Ruined party experience very disappointed.
Visited with grandchildren today aged 3 and 12 years. The bowling is good cost approx £18 for 1 adult and 2 children for one game. One game was enough for the 3 year old. We had lunch at the Wimpy. 2 adult meals and a kids meal cost £19 they didn't have any salt sachets so got a little pot with salt in, hard to control the amount of salt being poured so ended up with far too much on meal. Lots of slot machines take plenty of money as it could be an expensive visit it you have 2 plus children. Parking is plentiful but steps to climb or decend dependant on where you park to enter the building.
Great venue if you want somewhere a little quieter but still lots of arcade games and bowling.
Manager Matt was so helpful wen I was booking my daughters 14th bday party. He went above and beyond to help me.. My daughter attended with 5 friends amd had the best time. The food at the Wimpy was lush according to her and she's a picky child to please with food. Very happy with everything and she can't wait to go again. Thank you Matt!
Good bowling facilities. Food and drinks available. Staff pleasant .
