Rotherham Superbowl,  is very modern and clean. Nice atmosphere with plenty of facilities inside. 15 lanes, bar area, amusement area and a Wimpy inside.nToilets are clean, disabled toilets and baby changing is also available.nSnack machine and change machine for the arcade area.nSet up for the bowling is easy to do on tbe touch machines or you can set names and preferences pre visit online.nStaff are very helpful if you need any assistance to start your game.nThere is also a party room available if you fancy a birthday day out.nFeature nights for Christmas, New Yaer and Halloween.nLots of parking available on site, I didn't see any EV charging points on this visit.n10 mins away from Medowhall shopping centre.nGive this review a thumbs up if you think this will be helpful for others.
We are regulars here and it has seriously gone down hill. Went at weekend with my young son, booked a while ago online, when arrived told we were downstairs. Went downstairs to find the bar was shut, no music, no disco lights, it was awful! Asked to be moved up stairs at reception I was told no. Explained that each time we want a drink we have to carry all our belongings up and down 3/4 flights of stairs, as the bar isn’t open downstairs . I was told nothing they could do. Asked for a refund, I was told that I wasn’t entitled to one as I had booked online so offered a voucher! Went to the bar upstairs, waited over 25 minutes to get a drink as no staff at bar. No ice for drinks, coke flat. After bowling went on amusement machines to find most broke! Tried to play pool but cues broke and triangle doesn’t fit the the pool balls!!!!nnStaff are so rude, especially at reception! Very unhelpful and need customer service training. Which is constantly said in many reviews!! And the wimpy, well when you eventually get served as the one staff member cooking wimpy is also serving at the bar at the other end of the building, when you get your food it’s luke warm!nnToilets are disgusting and no way get checked, urine all over the floor!nnThis place is no cheaper than Hollywood bowl, so I’d save your money and go there. We’ve come for years and it has got worse each time. There was a lot of complaints and angry parents last weekend, especially the ones downstairs who were unhappy that no bar was open or even music was playing! This place is going to end up with no customers if it doesn’t start making changes
Me and my friend had an amazing time at this venue, where we were booked in promptly at the reception. The stairs and carpet helped welcome us before the game, playing at a grand lane with true bowling designs! There is a proper range of bowls available, especially in different sizes, and the selfies we took for the scoreboard were used in numerous video settings on the screen. A member of staff helped us at the start when we accidentally entered too many players, also the toilets had been kept clean!
Although we looked happy, after a few pints , the place is quite dowdy and aged. The only place to eat is a whinpy and boy is it bad lol worse than school food.nMy advice is goto the ally at Centertainment Sheffield, I remember from 30 years ago why we started going there hehe
Good prices, an arcade and a wimpy and bar to get food and have a game of 8 ball pool. The bowling alley was good with a range of balls and 16 lanes. Bit of confusion at the reception, woman told the ladies ahead of us that they were on lane 15, then preceded to tell us that we were on lane 15, after asking she confirmed to us that we would be bowling on the original lane we had been told, the others bowled on the other lane. Also quite happy as I nearly got the record on the basketball machine but oh well
