Delicious, beautifully presented food and wonderful cocktails. Staff very friendly. Highly recommended. The truffle fries were and Basil daiquiri were amazing.
The food here is incredible. Each dish is carefully crafted and the flavours are all so well balanced! We will definitely be returning :
Beautiful, thick cut, french toast, bacon and maple syrup with fried egg on the side very well presented and extremely tasty. This spacious comfortable venue is in Shawlands at the corner of Kilmarnock road and Skirving St. Nice friendly staff. One small problem, coffee was served very promptly and was nearly cold by the time food arrived. Small point otherwise, i thoroughly recommend you try this place.
Had dinner at Oscar last night with friends. I follow a plant based diet and had food off the dedicated vegan menu. It did not disappoint! I had the gnocchi, and the humous with flatbread, and was thoroughly full afterwards. Recommend booking ahead - it was a Tuesday night and we got the only free table when we walked in, it is proving very popular!
The service is friendly, the place is very nicely put together, the gyros had a very refreshing twist to it. The ingredients taste fresh and light. Absolutely delicious.
I've visited on separate occasions for brunch and evening drinks. Brunch was great however evening drinks was disappointing - very slow service on a mostly empty night and our favourite choice of Mai Tai was expensive and didn't taste particularly nice. Cool glasses though!Food: 4/5
Really great food. Very fast service. The brunch menu is a good length, plenty to choose from but not too much choice. Really varied too so most likely will please most people. I would definitely recommend the French toast...absolutely delicious! Vegetarian options: Lots of options for vegetarian.
Walked in for a Sunday brunch with friends and the staff were so welcoming and friendly and when the restaurant was filling up even moved tables and plants to accommodate more customers. The food was amazing, especially the Stornoway and the coffee was delicious. Really nice atmosphere and can't wait to come back and try some more of the menu.
Passing through Glasgow today heard about Oscar’s . As our dog is called Oscar we just had to stop. Three of us at lunchtime. Very attentive staff and when the food arrived it was a wow all around. Can honestly say best lunch, brunch place I’ve been to in a long time. Enjoyed lunch so much decided to make same dish for my husband … thanks to the staff at Oscar’s for the salad takeaway which saved the day so my mister in doors enjoyed the same great dish at home . Great Coffee, Great Food, great music and atmosphere. Got to send 5 stars and we will def be making a return visit . Highly Recommended .
Been in a few times and really liked it. However, on the last occasion, I ordered heuvos rancheros but asked if I could have it without pepperoni. I was told it wasn't a problem. I was just over halfway through it when I realised I was eating a bit of pepperoni. I'm pretty sure it was the only bit of meat in it but I left the remainder. I told the waitress and let her know I wasn't upset - mistakes happen. What irked me however was that when my partner had paid for the bill, they hadn't taken my item off. I'd have assumed it is Customer Service 101 to just not charge for an item in such a situation. Not sure if I'll go back which is a bit of a shame Vegetarian options: Could be more but I understand it's a small menu.
