Went for dinner and drink before our concert which got cancelled we got the tapas and it was amazing. Love the mushroom pasta and rice balls but everything was amazing and the daiquiris one alcoholic, one non were yummy.  The servers were great and polite and lovely, great experience all round.  Will be back for my birthday dinner.

If I am honest, was a bit disappointed with the quality food returning a year ago.  Meatballs were a bit dense and pasta overcooked as opposed to al dente. Pizza and calamari was excellent and in my view the saving grace.  Service was not bad certainly not as good as the previous visit although sitting opposite a draft upstairs didn’t help.

We have been going to La Vita restaurants for almost 20 years and it never disappoints. My last visit was probably the best as the few times before the food had dipped. So glad as it’s always clean and service is spot on. Only thing is the one on Gordon Street it’s been over a year the AC needs replaced upstairs as it’s too hot and you don’t enjoy your meal when it’s like a sauna but other wise all our food was delicious and fresh

Excellent food, I had the pork belly with Mediterranean vegetables and it was delicious. The waiting staff were fantastic but the female manager left a lot to be desired. Ignored when arrived at restaurant waiting to be seated, having obvious cross words with staff next to our table and waitress in tears. I could go on but enough said.

Booked a table for 5.30pm, arrived at 5.25pm, queue at the door with people who didn't book, didn't get seated until 6.10pm. Was in a rush then as had a concert to go to. Ordered food and drink at the same time. Pizza was pretty decent but pasta dish was pretty dry and full of garlic. Pretty expensive for what it is.Food: 4/5

Food was great, staff friendly and helpful. We didn't like where our table was sitting which was right next to the stairs leading to toilets. On a busy Saturday afternoon this meant there was a constant stream of people squeezing passed each other next to us while we were being served and eating, staff were also squeezing passed moving tables and chairs. Our table was not nearly big enough for our dishes. Enjoyable but not very relaxing.  Vegetarian options: I was happy with vegetarian selection but there could be more

Visited the restaurant on a few occasions now and the food is always very good. There is a great selection of dishes available, even on the lunch time deal menu. Staff are always friendly and helpful and it's a nice restaurant. Can get busy so recommend to book if going at peak times or as a group. I always get the meatballs and the slow cooked pork as 2 of my dishes and they never disappoint  Wheelchair accessibility: I'm not a wheelchair user however purely from looking at the layout, the entrance is quite a narrow doorway and tables are closed together. The staff are however always helpful so may have options available to assist in access

Had a meal here on Friday night with my partner and had a great experience.  The decor is beautiful, inside and out, the whole place is very clean and well laid out and the staff were very attentive and friendly.  We had one of their sharing dishes plus a few sides Carbonara, parmesan fries, garlic bread and 5" pizza and everything was delicious and extremely reasonably priced compared with other similar establishments in the area. We had a few cocktails as well and these were also very well made and delicious.  Perfect venue for date night or group celebrations.  Would definitely recommend and will certainly be back in the future

I asked waiter how many pasta dishes should we order from the tapas option.  Three.  Turns out. They're not small, so three was far too much food.  We got last table on a walk in which was great but it was right beside the hatch at bar. Which squeaked & was in use pretty much constantly.  The restaurant is lovely, well decorated & the food is excellent. Just wish we'd ordered less of it as hate waste food & money.

They offer a great tasting menu where you can order three small dishes. I ordered the pizza, spicy potato bites and garlic bread and it was all great, really nice flavours and good value for money. Will definitely be back to sample their other dishes.Food: 4/5
