Little Italy

About

Here at Little Italy, we aim to bring you the atmosphere of the traditional Italian coffee bar/pizzeria with good quality food - at affordable prices!

Story

Within the attractive surrounds of polished granite with modern Italian music and the aromas of our authentic dishes and coffee, you could only be in one place!

It's not until you have been to Italy that you realise that the coffee served in the UK is an entirely different product. Here in Little Italy we bring you the quality of coffee that you would enjoy in Italy.

I look forward every day to going to Little Italy and having that one coffee that does the trick! If it doesn't taste right I would want to know why and then make it right. I expect each of my customers to enjoy coming to Little Italy again and again. And if one day they are disappointed with the quality of our food or service, I would want to know about it, so that I can fix it! I look forward to seeing you soon.

The chef’s special was honestly the best pasta dish I think I’ve ever tasted. It was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and prompt but potentially could’ve been just slightly friendlier. It was really busy but we were able to sit outside.Food: 5/5
Food was good and tasty but I think it was bit on pricey side. I would rather go to pizza good place that can fill my stomach and still have some leftovers with same price. I ordered arrabiata pasta, tasty but £10 just for small portion. Go once to try it.
Always good no matter when to sit in and it’s home made Italian pizza and pasta, so tastyFood: 5/5
Lunchtime meal for 3 family members. Had to wait 15.mins to he seated but advised of this Whole of Byers Road cafes and eateries were much the same. Lovely food and filling. Good menu options.Food: 4/5
Spicy chicken pizza was one of the best I've tasted. Thin crispy but soft base with generous topping was utterly delicious. Garlic bread slices were slightly overdone for my liking but this was just personal preference. Sitting outside near closing time the staff were very accommodating. No room out side for wheelchair users a very tight squeeze. Not much of a summer vibe or exciting atmosphere. I would have loved to have had more time to enjoy the pudding selection. Parking: Car park facilities just across the street with a very busy road and traffic lights just a stone throw away. Ideal placed within the desirable street.
Food was excellent as always and the staff are lovely. My only complaint is with the kids drawing mat/chefs hat. It only comes with the kids pizza and while it’s not a massive deal it seems a bit mean that one kid got one and the other didn’t cause he had the pasta. He was so upset and although we did ask if he could have one he wasn’t allowed which I found a bit weird as every other restaurant I’ve been to pretty much ever has stuff like drawing mats to keep kids entertained, regardless of what they order from the kids menu. We did get a piece of paper for him to doodle on but still not the point. Especially when the bill was nearly £100.
the atmosphere here is wonderful. food tastes fresh and yummm but i think the portion could be increased slightly. they have vegan options too very well maintained place and all the seats and tables are properly sanitised.. service is too good overall really great place to have a comfy outing
My first lunch in Glasgow and it was totally amazing, I loved it. The atmosphere, the staff and especially the food were all fantastic. I was unsure what to order at first and I was recommended to try the pollo piccante by one of the staff. It was awesome Then we got a 16" pizza to share and I have to admit, I didn't expect the portions to be so big, it was almost intimidating Unfortunately, there wasn't enough storage in my stomach to try anything else but I will definitely be back to try out more of the foods on the menu Besides the food, I really enjoyed the ambience of this place, it's the kind of place where you just want to sit down and chill and talk to your friends for hours. Definitely a place to come back to again
We just entered at the last closing time and still being greeted gracefully Ordered cappuccino and Tiramisu Loverly and tastyFood: 5/5
Everything is good atmosphere, service and food. Worth trying. The 16” pizza is big, two are sufficient for 3 persons.Food: 5/5
