Nice pub food, but we had booked a table for 7.30, was then told at the bar that food service had stopped. Had I not told the bar lady that we'd booked the table, we would have had to go elsewhere for food, having travelled all that way. In the photo you can see the hunter's chicken burnt at one end. Hospitable and friendly staff though, food tasted lovely, would go again. Can understand if food service ends early due to lack of staff, but this wasn't even posted on Facebook.
Arrived on a Monday lunch time. Was pretty quiet. The staff are friendly and seem to genuinely want to give you a good service. I had a double bacon burger with curly fries. Cost me less that £10. Meal was substantial, taste great. Very good value friendly atmosphere. They have a playground for kids and some game machines. It's a very friendly place. Worth a visit and very good value for money.
The place to eat. Good food, excellent service, wide selection of meals on the menu. Tasty. Family run pub, very customer focus to the dining experience. Meal offers during the week, well worth considering. Fish,chips, mushy peas piping hot. Good car parking at rear of pub. Good vegetarian choices. Highly recommend the Rosette.
Popped in on spec with my daughter and the dog, it was pretty full, but there was a nice seating area and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Neil and the barman were friendly and efficient. The food is very reasonable. I had a generous portion of fish and chips and the batter was very light and my daughter had the Lasagne, which she she said wasn't at all greasy. All in all very good value for money, they deserve to do well.
Went for Christmas dinner having booked last minute less that a week before. It surpassed expectations- we've been for Christmas dinner at other places and it's never been great. Service was quick but not rushed. The food was good, plenty of it, and the staff were exceptional. They were all very chatty and friendly, especially considering I'm sure they would have rather been home with their families but they did not show this at all. They made it a great experience for us. Couldn't fault it and would definitely recommend.
Spent a nice evening here, although very busy the new owner and his staff ensured all of our meals came out at the same time. The meals were lovely. Kids loved the food and dessert. Has a nice garden with kids play area. Can tell this is under new management, as there is a massive improvement, Not only with the food but service and atmosphere. The staff and manager were very helpful Finally may have a good family restaurant in the area.
had a meal here tonight for my mums birthday. There were 8 of us in total we had a lovely meal , can't fault anything. food came quickly, hot and was very nice. staff were friendly and helpful, will definitely be back
Three adults and two children all ate food. The food arrived in a very acceptable length of time and was piping hot. It was brought by a very personable staff member, who I believe is the manager. It makes a nice change to finally get a manager in who is interested in giving the best service possible in a very friendly manner. Kid-friendliness: Food very appealing to the children. Good value meal deal for them. Parking: Good-sized car park
Been 3 times this year. Couldn't get food last time. But now taken over and back to even better than before.Had a mixed grill and my partner had a steak on Sunday.. love food. Good value. Pleasant staff. Will be back.
We have been to the Rosette several times recently with family. The atmosphere is great, busy but not overcrowded and the team are very friendly and efficient. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a good value for money meal served with a very warm welcome.
