Called in for a quick pint. Menu looked OK although didn't eat. Cheap n cheerful. Good atmosphere.
Live just up the road but never been before. Couldn't be bothered to cook tea so went down for a meal. Lovely friendly place , good atmosphere, really nice food. Mine - starter, crispy mushroom with garlic sauce, madras curry, substituted nan bread for garlic bread. Sue had Thursdays meal deal... "skinny steak which isn't, done to a turn, with a glass of red wine. Me half a Guiness really nice.All for £25, can't grumble at that. To top it all great service. Very welcoming, family friendly, can go be myself and very accepting no matter what and feel welcome and safe, happy especially as someone with autism, anxiety One of the best places I've been, nicest and the staff amazing customer service, always have a smile on their face, become my favourite place to go for one quiet drink so often and local No judgmental people, safe space and everyone around is kind. Recently visited this pub during a shift change. I had been drinking a lager top style drink of which the lemonade part was free of charge. Upon a shift change, this lemonade dash became an unjustified additional charge of £0.75 per pint. I know raw material prices have increased recently, but jeez!

Very nice staff, a nice atmosphere, clean and welcoming. The burger was big, hot and well made and the chef did a great job. Highly recommended.
Called in as the Taxi driver said it was a friendly and vibrant pub. Excellent and courteous staff who were very helpful. The manager Angela dealt with our queries and questions prompt regarding food and availability. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning again next time the family visit Scarborough.
Went for a friend's 50th and the staff couldn't have been any nicer! The food was lovely, reasonably priced and efficient service......we'll definitely be back!
Nice big pub. A family pub i would describe it. The food is very reasonably priced and always well cooked and nice and hot. Defo a place to nip in for a meal if you are passing.
just went for a walk due royal funeral and fancied fresh air to clean mind. so pop in crown for peace and quiet pint, minding my own business. the service was excellent by staff lady and quickly my pint came.
