I have long medical history. I’m suffering with chronic migraines daily. I had it agreed that I could have a three month script with all my medications because I wasn’t getting them on time. I cannot be without my meds or I’ll suffer withdrawal and this keeps happening. Today, 12 August 25 I have called boots to check my scripts are with them, they’re not! I’ve spent the last two hours being told different things from the surgery. I am in bed with yet another migraine my fifth this week and I haven’t any of my medication for the migraines. My medical conditions are complex and I need my medication something which rosedean doesn’t seem to get. I’m hopefully moving soon and that will be a new surgery. Rosedean are awful, the amount of times my daughter has stood in the cue and seen elder patients turned away repeatedly.nHopeless and simply don’t care!
I was shocked - my 89 year old mother was transferring to another surgery and we arranged for her medication to be sent the following week. It did not happen and she was left without medication. I get that problems happen but sure a phone call to say that we would not be able to be given medication at the very least - but, no, we were left simply to stew.... really shocking...
Absolutely amazing, had sciatica for the past 4 weeks, the female doctor I saw was lovely, she could see how much pain I was in and didn't want to manipulate me to make it worse, sorted with appropriate pain relief! I'm so glad I changed from Looe old bridge surgery as they would NEVER have been so understanding, Big thanks Pauline x
This surgery is now beyond a joke.nHad a prescription made out and sent to the surgery on the 31st July, as it was a telephone consultation.nWent to pick it up on the 6th Aug, to be told a dr needs to sign it, i said would come bck on 7th to pick it up.nCalled today, waited for an hour and half on the phone, to be told hadn't been signed yet, but they would have it sorted within a couple hrs. I received a txt message saying it was all sorted, I went to pick it up to be told, no it wasn't ready a dr needs to sign it.nWhere is it all going wrong, it's just beyond baffling.nAm so thankfull that I don't have any long term health issues, and rarely use the surgery, as it must be an absolute nightmare to use this surgery on a regular basis.
No option but to leave this surgery after about 10 years .when you cannot get an appointment or speak to a Doctor for three months, you know there's a problem..nNever spoken to such a rude receptionist in my life .it all went down hill when Dr Thornton left .nI knew the NHS was under pressure, but this is not acceptable.
