Stayed I one of the holiday rental properties. Great family site nice and quiet. Tennis court that the children loved. We found a nice quiet spot to play games and have a picnic. Has a lake and I believe with a permit you can fish.Rooms: 4/5
Stayed with a group of friends in one of the villas. We met the host in the morning, lively person that gave amazing advice in regard of the surrounding. Great place in the middle of the nature, we've seen some rabbits too. Clean place, we really appreciated it.
I almost fully agree with all the reviews. lovely located estate, with the well designed park. very friendly manager. just one complaint. We’ve been in the “Stable”. after we moved into the apartment we have noticed that there was a slightly moldy scent in the air. so we had to ventilate all the rooms for two days, placing some scented candles to get rid of the smell. but I assume these circumstances are due to the fact that it is placed nearby the creek, which is streaming right behind the house. and of the regular rain which is occurring mostly over the year. I would recommend to air the rooms more often especially when a customer is announced to move in. but anything else, the rooms, the facilities and the equipment are in good condition, everything was clean and we really enjoyed our stay.
Just spent a week staying at Riverside 1. Holiday accommodation was excellent, lots of room for 3 adults, 2 kids and a dog. Grounds are very relaxing as was the fishing. Location is about 10 mins from Liskeard and 30 from Looe, very small single road leads to Rosecraddoc so best take it easy. Only very slight negative is the fact you have to either reverse up the driveway to the cottage to drive out no turning room or drive in and reverse out, not bad as long as your car has a reversing camera. Ideal place if you want to rest and recharge.
Visited for 4 days and stayed in Lakeview cottage. Was absolutely immaculate on arrival with a beautiful view of the lake. Was worried would be cold but the heaters in every room makes the stay even more cosy and the kitchen was equip with every you could need. Steve on reception was a little star and helped with internet connection and the lady owner was fabulous aswell, will certainly be returning and staying at the manor. Wonderful people and accommodation keep up the good work x
Me and my brother stayed here for a week for a spiritual getaway and it was perfect. The scenery was very tranquil. There is so many things to do in the area from embracing local walks and appreciating nature, to walking with alpacas and stopping at inkies for a beautiful smoked meal. The lodge was clean and tidy, the caretakers were very accommodating and pleasent, Julie went an extra mile for us which was very kind. We will definitely will be returning.
Wow what a beautiful rustic place, sauna in our apartment, absolutely stunning grade 2 listed building, spent Christmas there and it was the best Christmas of my life fishing included....Rooms: 5/5
Very clean and spacious accommodation, beautiful location, super peaceful, we will definitely return. It would be perfect if there was a pub or store within walking distance, but still highly recommended place to stay at.Rooms: 5/5
2 very minor points maybe just preference....we arrived to find no towels in our accommodation, there was a surcharge of £3/person/week, and were requested to pay £25 to cover electric for the week. Personally we would prefer to pay another £40 on the cost of the week & have those extras included. There was also no shaver point in the bathroom. However, having said that, we stayed in "Stable" & it was spacious & comfortable, excellent value for money & would definitely consider staying here again.
Great accommodation right by the river. Friendly owners. Stunning views and the grounds are beautiful. Just the place to come and unwind. You will feel ready to take on the world after such a calming and relaxing stay, for either a weekend or a week. We will definitely be coming back.Rooms: 5/5
