I attended the place where my dad's ashes were scattered and we was allocated a resting place to place flowers etc.We have been regularly for the past 5 years ,he had a plaque with his name and verse on ,couple of special vases again with name on.On attending this week we found the grass had been cut the cemetery is always well kept,grass never over grownmy Dad's things had been moved as usual to cut the grass.Our belongings for my dad was nowhere is sign,we searched everywhere even around the tree that is only a couple of feet away where some other people's things had been put.I was getting extremely upset as nothing could be found after about 35 minutes we found my dad's things in the undergrowth amongst tall grass and some weeds behind the path.This really upset me as usually they pit things back, I have tried calling the office on site several times but nobody picks up.I know this seems trivial to some but to me it was very upsetting.

The crematorium has special significance as my grandad, granny and dad were all cremated here. The service received was excellent. Burial of the ashes was respectful and Dave , the crematorium worker who accompanied me with the ashes was respectful, caring and very understanding. I found the staff to be professional and caring. As a regular visitor to lay flowers I always find the grounds are well kept and very peaceful. It is well maintained and a lovely place to sit and remember loved ones. The facilities are well maintained and clean. Rose Hill is a very peaceful and respectable crematorium.

My Parents ashes were buried together in 2014.  They were placed in the same area as my Maternal Grandparents, at the back of the gardens  dated back in 1970’s for reference At the time my Uncle made a very small discrete cross, this along with a planter and some very small symbols were in place.    Many Family members, including my two Sisters, have visited this place many times a year, with flowers and symbolic decorations.  Recently, my Aunt visited only to find everything had been removed  later found trashed under a nearby bench only a notice stating that no items were permitted on the grounds.  For 5 years the Family has visited without incident.  To find these precious items discarded and broken was completely heartbreaking.  I live in the US so am unable to visit, my Sisters do visit frequently, it was my younger Sister who discovered the broken artifacts on her recent visit.  My elder Sister contacted Rose Hill and was advised without compassion or consideration that the grounds did not permit any form of memorials.    The fact that items had been thrown and trashed was of no concern to him , even stating he was surprised the cross that my Uncle made had lasted so long.  As a Family, we have many loved ones who rest in these grounds.   I find the lack of common decency deplorable. When our loved ones pass we mourn them desperately, that doesn’t end.  Having a place to visit and reflect can be both comforting and cathartic.....   The items were not huge and obnoxious,  my Aunt has planted daffodils, even the bulbs had been dug up from the ground....   and also discarded.  Not sure it makes a difference to underscore this is a small space at the back of the grounds,  visited by loved ones regularly and for all occasions.  Rose Hill crematorium handled this in such an awful manner, the follow up conversation with my Sister, even more so.  My post serves only as a reminder that our loved ones  are loved and missed beyond the service and subsequent interment.   Empathy,  compassion and respectful behavior should not end at the funeral but continue with all undertakings when considering the resting place of our loved ones.

Attended Rose Hill cemetery on the 13th May 2018 following the Baby Service held at DRI for the Baby we lost to be absolutely shocked about how unkept the Baby section of the cemetery is. Grass was very tall and the sectioned borders where premature baby ashes are scattered was full of weeds! Terrible to say it's a place where some people try to cherish memories. Also on the way out I decided to have a little look at the pond to find several fish swimming around in very poor conditions. Nothing to oxygenated the water and no plant life. Just a poor larger fish in bad condition as well as some other smaller ones. I am absolutely disgusted.

Don't answer the phone, a bit distasteful considering their line of work! Just causes people stress, been trying for 2.5 hours now, I know someones in the office because the first time I phoned someone picked up the phone and then put it down.

Went to a service for a very popular person. Standing room only including outside where you couldn't hear a thing. At least the cobwebs kept me company. Could and should do far better.

My Dad passed away in June 2020 which was peaceful we had my Dad's cremation here such a beautiful place and beautiful service staff treated you with empathy

It is peaceful, well looked after and the staff are very helpful and compassionate

Thank you both so much for looking after my lovely Macy at  the end of her life.
