I've ordered many times from Ronnie's and also visited the restaurant several times. Tonight I was disappointed which feels 1000% worse when heavily pregnant and just want what you crave! The burger was ok, fries weren't very cooked. Ordered garlic bread with cheese but arrived with no cheese bit strange as they can't be short on cheese?!. Ordered Appletiser but a Pepsi turned up. Then to top it off, ordered a cookie which was burnt inside and I couldn't bite through it.
Used to love this place before it moved. Would never order pizza from anywhere else as I reviewed before , but last night's order really disappointed me. They did put it right by us returning and replacing but over all took an hour for a collection of a pizza and fries and I was put off, how they let the first order be sent out I don't know, completely undercooked likes water didn't even try.
First time visiting since move of location to larger premises. Slightly disappointed in my recent visit as restaurant was understaffed and were not prepared for us to arrive despite us paying a deposit and many toppings were not available. Drinks were brought out one at a time. Pizzas were tasty and fresh as expected but chips were frozen. Atmosphere of restaurant area made it feel like you were eating in an establishment geared towards its takeaway business.
First time we have visited since they have moved premises, as this was always reliably a great place to eat. However, the pizza's arrived to the table on large, warm metal trays and within moments were cold to eat!!! Half way through eating, I had finished my drink, but no one was around for me to order another one. Also, no one came over at all to check how our meals were. First time that we have ever felt neglected in a restaurant. I'm not surprised the restaurant was empty on a Friday evening, if this is how you're treated. We would usually have dessert, but we couldn't wait to leave and went elsewhere.
We are lucky enough to have Ronnie’s on our doorstep and have been going since they opened their first restaurant on Stourbridge High Street. Their pizzas are made the traditional Neapolitan way and are some of the best you will find outside Italy, making use of some of the best local ingredients. Make sure you try if you are near Stourbridge.
Excellent experience , have been handful of times now. Food is amazing , best pizza iv had by far, Made fresh to order. Have tried all options on menu pizza, pasta , burger cannot fault it. Staff are lovely and helpful. Would definately recommend this place. Vegetarian options: Vegaterian options on menu. Caters to all dietary requirements. Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly , always bring my son with me. High chairs available. Parking: Parking around back of building , very big carpark. 2 min walk from place.
Neapolitan style pizza, Dave Portnoy would give a 6.8. Meaning that’s the highest score for this type of pizza. Fresh ingredients, servers working hard, Stourbridge should be proud. Anyone west of Birmingham and top of Worcestershire should come and be a patron. The burgers look great as well. Next time. Try delivery.
If this review was based on the food alone, it’d be 5 star with the mention of great vegetarian and vegan options. It took too long to be offered a drink when we first sat down which is a must to feel welcome and get settled to start enjoying a visit. The waiting staff seemed over worked with an obvious lack of front of house management. 1 pizza didn’t arrive and it was simply forgotten about which made me not want to start mine until the other arrived. 1 drink was missed and incorrect when it arrived. The bill also took too long to arrive when requested. From our experience on the night, these errors were not the front of house staff, but one of overall management which dampened the experience a little.
First time going here. Food was decent although not a lot of choices, especially for veggies. The server was lovely but the service was quite slow. Nice decor inside. Reasonably priced as well.Food: 3/5
Ate in the restaurant, food was lovely and hot and all came out together even the gluten free was hot and came out with other meals. All food was great especially the chips. The staff were lovely and worked incredibly hard all night! Dietary restrictions: Ronnie's offer gluten free bases for pizzas so you can have the same pizzas as everyone else just with a different base
