Food was delicious; staff were very efficient, polite and friendly. We had chicken schnitzel, haddock and chips, and chicken tenders starter. Both chicken dishes were proper breast - not reconstituted The only thing that spoilt the meal for us was the music - but then we are old and were sat under a speaker!
Went for a quick meal on an evening as a table of two. Plenty of availability, was toasty by the fire! Food came quickly and was really nice with a good portion size! Services was a tiny bit slow but not a real issue! Would come again!
Visited here for the first time since its refurbishment from when it was a carvery. The decor inside is modern whilst holding that vintage feel. The location has dining huts on the exterior also. The customer service from the team was excellent with quick friendly service throughout. It is noted that there was bar service only and no table service. The drinks in regards to cocktails could have tasted better as one of the ones we ordered was a funny colour and tasted a bit off. Overall I would visit again however.
I visit the Old White Horse every couple of weeks for a group meeting and always buy lunch. The staff are amazing! Nothing is too much trouble and they are always friendly and polite. My only criticism would be the choice of vegetarian food. Everything seems to be spicy and it's not my thing at all, but that's purely personal taste. I'm happy to recommend the pub, and thank you Timothy and the staff for always making us so welcome.
My first visit here as an Ember Inn. The decor of this place is nice, it looks nice and clean. However I opened the menu, which was stained and sticky. I had a steak, which was extremely chewy. The waitress did come around asking if everything was alright. But this was before I cut into my steak. My partner had half roast chicken, which she enjoyed. Total cost was around £38.nCant see myself coming back here again.
