I have been training at this club since it opened and absolutely love it. The vibe is so nice and without bias or ego's. Lovely, warm welcoming environment for everyone. The instructors are so knowledgeable and patient it helps with all levels of learning and they are all very supportive of all thier students.
Great club, very welcoming. We moved down from London and were so happy to finally find a good club. My son has come on so much. I like the fact he gets taught self defence and respect. He trains twice a week but would do every day if he could.
My 5 year old daughter has been going to Grand Union Bjj for a year now and she absolutely loves it. She adores Ceaser and Mario. The lessons are conducted really well and it's obvious a lot of thought has gone into them.
Great club, great instructors, safe for one and all. Though a little hard to find the first time, so here's a photo of the entrance... Down the alleyway, turn left, then turn right and go downstairs.
Such a good place for community, myself and daughters all train there. We’ve made many good friends there. The training is great with friendly and superb instructors. I would highly recommend it to anyone in & around Brighton.
Excellent coaching and training, a great, modern facility, a great community and team atmosphere and excellent kids classes. I've trained a many BJJ gyms around the world and Grand Union Brighton is certainly world class. Cesar and Mario are expert coaches at the highest level who make sure training is fun, safe, challenging and rewarding. There is a great mix of levels and styles in the people who train there but there is a consistent culture of respect, friendship and mutual progression. Very highly recommended for beginners and experts alike.
Been training here for a short while. Facilities are fantastic and the instructors Mario and Cesar and awesome. As a beginner they are clear with instruction and have loads of patience. Great for children or adults. Would recommend for adults wanting to improve fitness and confidence. Always a bonus to support a local business.
Great friendly club and excellent value for money. The kids classes have them all completely engaged and wanting to come back to continue progressing. Can’t recommend highly enough.
I really enjoy training at Grand Union Brighton.. facilities are great, lots of classes to chose from and there are many friendly & encouraging people around to help.. I feel privileged to learn from the coaches there as the quality of teaching is the best , and they make everyone very welcome. The gym is good for women who want to train in a safe and positive environment.. Thank you Cesar and Mario!
