The food at Rock 'n Roe has got better over the past few years I think.nnService today was good although we were in late evening so it wasn't busy. Our cod was cooked to order and was still piping hot when we got home.nnFriendly service - overall very decent and just what we wanted.
Went here for a quick meal for the family. Good service from the owners and wide selection of food. Something for everyone with two fussy kids. They do delivery as well but local to us so we went and picked up. Clean inside so reassuring.

Im originally from Buckhurst Hill and my mum used to take me here every week for fish and chips 20 odd years ago. As I grew up, I moved location and recently returned to get some fish and chips.nnMost of the staff have been there since I was a child. Very friendly, welcoming staff.nnMe and my partner bought the 3 cod bites with chips and couldn’t fault the food at all. The quality hasn’t changed. Has always and will always be the best chippy in my opinion. Food is always fresh.
