Great atmosphere and selection of stalls selling various foods and drinks. Entertainment stage and local acts were excellent too.
The market has shrunk compared to the previous one we had in the old part of town but still is OK 10 stalls but this could vary on different days
Everytime I've been here, it's never been too crowded. Social distancing has always been in place and there are many good shops in here. I love this market and would definitely recommend other people to go here. It is one of my favourite places to go while in Rochdale because it isn't too loud
Not a lot to say about the "improved" market stalls...miss having our proper market and I'm not the only one who has voiced that opinion over the last few years. It's a crying shame we lost most of our local traders, which Rochdale residents knew by name. There are bargains to be had on the few stalls in town, fruit and veg, a tech stall with mobile accessories etc, bedding and clothes.
Although Quite A Small Market, There's Bargains To Be Got, Every 4 Saturday In A Month There's An Artisan Market, Quality Foods Etc, On Offer.
The old inside market was such a joy- we used have the fish mongers, broken biscuit stalls etc Now the markets are a disappointment in comparison such a shame.
Tradition market,more like a 3rd world bazaar jumble sale market.
Artisan market was great despite the down pour great shopping atea in Rochdale town centre..... compared to Oldham anyway
Rubbish. It needs money putting in to it and investment put into those little businesses.
