Best Traditional Pie & Mash, from east London to Essex, lovely staff and lovely food always, you can't beat it!

My dad used to bring me here once a month when I was growing up and having just been back for the first time in many years nothing has changed. The place looks exactly the same and the staff are so friendly and happy. The food tastes exactly how I remember and I can now sadly eat pie and mash from no where else as the standard is so high. You'll never have any gristle in your pie. The mash is to die for and the liquor is devine! Can't recommend this place enough!

Been coming here with my family for many years and it's one of the last truly traditional Pie and Mash shops around. My Dad was born and raised in the east end of London and has eaten Pie and Mash pretty much everywhere since the 1950's and he reckons this place is hard to beat. Everything about it is fantastic! If you want real traditional East end food with the atmosphere of a traditional Pie and Mash shop, then this is the place for you.

The food here is really nice, good portion's and fairly priced. The eel's are absolutely great as is the liquor. I've also had the pie's here and they are also very nice. The staff are friendly as well. The only thing is it's a small place and seating can be hard when busy, the tables are small and chairs are close together because of seating space, so you're back to back with other customers when busy.
