Lovely little pub lots of seating outside, dog friendly unfortunately they where not doing food when we went but very welcoming.
I'm actually in my front room but because it's so close to the Robin Hood, Google thinks I'm in the pub. The food in the Robin Hood is brilliant, by the way Post pandemic update. Still a great friendly pub but food not as up market now, only pizza type food so I've not tried it.
Since going back here after lockdown, I enjoy sitting outside. There is always a member of staff available outside to take my drinks order
Absolutely dreadful experience - like something out of Shameless. This used to be a really vibrant pub with a good mix of people serving home cooked food and a range of beers. Not anymore. Just a dive. Such a shame that it's been allowed to degenerate to such a low life establishment.
The restaurant is now permanently closed so no food available. They could do with updating their website.
Nice staff, good atmosphere but slightly high prices
Great pub with a friendly atmosphere. The front is a great addition to sit out on a nice evening
11/12020 .. So me and my partner live locally to the Robin Hood but have never eaten there, today we called in for a meal, on the menu wasn’t breaded mushrooms and with garlic dip but we asked the chef and he delivered ... wow he delivered, 7 out of 5 stars ... for the food and service! A great family pub as a whole... highly recommended from us.
Lovely little place. Welcoming atmosphere. Food is great and plenty drinks to choose from. This place is situated right by Orrell Water Park so what better way to finish your walk than with a nice visit to the Robin Hood. They also have plenty seating outside.
The staff serving the customers outside are very helpful, and polite, unlike the bar staff. If you dare to step off the carpet, which is on the path to the gents toilets; expect to be spoken to, like your a very low form of life! The male concerned was, extremely abrupt, rude, barked out orders, and is in the wrong job. He then expects you to be civil to him. Their policies are not clear, and nothing is displayed at the entrance of the pub to inform you of this problem area. It felt like Fawlty Towers, with Basil behind the bar. Make your own conclusions.
