The Robin Hood is a lovely pub in the countryside. Easy to get to off the M2. The food was very good, and plenty of it. The price a little over average. The setting of the pub is wonderful, but it does smell like a pub. Lovely wood fire burning which brings a different feel! They also have a separate room which has a more restaurant feel. The outside seating area is huge and looks fab, too cold to sit out but in the summer I am sure this is a great place to visit especially with the young members of the family. The service was fab, lovely attentive man behind the bar. The food came very quickly and was really good.
Nice traditional little pub with good food and friendly service. We reserved a table for dinner and everyone was very happy with their meals. Special mention goes to the Tarragon Chicken which my partner said was delicious! My salmon and prawn linguine was nice too but be careful of the chilli - it bites! If I order this again I will ask for them to turn down the spice a little :- I would recommend The Robin Hood for a quiet but noteworthy place to eat, drink and relax.
Dog friendly, off the beaten track, a bit pricey but worth it for the friendly staff, dog treats & beautiful walk in quintessentially British countryside. Food looked amazing but didn't sample any.
Ordered here for a get together with some of my friends. Delivery isn't too bad but each place is different depending on where you're ordering from. The food was presented nicely even for a takeaway, my veggie burger with an interesting name was delicious. The levels are going up with the veggie meals but was not as spicy as I would have liked. That's my only issue, if you say spicy it must be spicy for the big boys/girls not like sweet chilli sauce. Bangkok bad boy is a bad boy
Lovely country pub with delicious home food and reasonable price. Located in the woods it has outdoor sitting and would be a great place to have lunch or dinner.
We were clearly not the first to find this pub as it seemed pretty full without being overrun but we went for the first time for father's day lunch and we were impressed by the friendly service and good food
Very good food in a nice quiet location. One thing I found unusual was the use of chicken thigh in the wrap which gave it quite a spongy texture. Breast would have been a better choice. My wife had fish and chips and it was perfect, move the fish and very little oil on the chips. Overall it was great.
Cannot recommend this lovely pub and it's staff highly enough. They went above and beyond today spending hours shovelling snow to make sure we could safely get into the car park for my Dad's wake. Once inside the food was plentiful and very tasty. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. It made a difficult day so much easier. Thank you.
Very pretty looking pub, got inside and outside seating and plenty of parking. For its location it's rather popular! Has a little play park for the kids to play in, you can reserve tables and buy food as well as drinks! Perfect place if you want to have a party with friends and family, I would definitely recommend this place to others. I believe it has toilets on site and the scenery is beautiful.
Glad I came here, didnt need to book to eat in the front bar area but would recommend you book a table before coming. Just had a nice vegan dish here, it was spaghetti meatballs, very tasty. Both of us were happy with our meals, nice fire burning as you go in. Big car park, nice and busy and fully recommend the roast dinner. Dog friendly, Smoking shelter, plenty outside seating, good selection of drinks. What more do you need, visit here and you will not regret it.
