Stayed for 3 nights this time, our second visit to the site and will definitely keep coming back. The motorhome pitches are very spacious and the site is beautifully kept. The toilet block was always clean with easy access to the disabled facilities using a Radar key. We didn't use the pool this time but there is a booking system which seems to work well. Easy walk to Ripley Castle across the field exclusively for campsite residents. All staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. The Nippy chippy mobile van came on Saturday at 5pm and the fish+chips were delicious. The shop was well stocked with essentials, even letting me go in while closed by the lady on reception. I would highly recommend this site.
Lovely caravan site. Great friendly staff. Site is clean and well maintained, as are the toilets and shower blocks. Nice pitches. Great swimming pool and play area. Lots of ducks. Great pub in village 10 minutes walk, The Boars Head. Will definitely be staying at Ripley Caravan Park again.
Just had another visit to this site. 3 year since last one. Low season. Great. Quiet and see lots of wild life. Nice and clean. ALL have full service pitches which is great. Brilliant short walk to Ripley using the very safe road free short cut. Staff on site very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit and we will be there again. Poss after summer season
We first stumbled upon Ripley in 2007, when the forecast for the lakes was dire, and given that we were camping, we were following the weather forecast to Ripley. We had a fantastic weekend and found lots of good walks. We continued to visit as campers then in 2012 sited our first tourer. Since then we renewed our tourer and in 2019 we bought a static. Have to say we have never looked back. The site is very well maintained with pleasant surroundings and all amenities are cleaned regularly. My sister and brother in law came to visit and they were so taken, they bought a tourer and love it. Playground: There is a well maintained playground, football and games field. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly, owners need to be sensible!
Lovely clean park, decent sized pitches most are fully serviced with 10 amp elec hookup.... there is a nice little shop for some essentials, great amenities, great staff and nice indoor pool and games room... Good wooden play park for the children and walking distance to a great pub....
Lovely tranquil site with excellent access benefitting from an indoor heated swimming pool. On-site tarmac roads and good sized plots. Shower/toilet block looking a bit dated though...if you need to use it. Loads of local attractions.
A lovely site in a fantastic area. We spent a week here and loved it. There’s lots to do in the area and it’s a short walk into Ripley which is stunning. The dog walk is a little short but handy and the pitches could perhaps do with a bit of screen between them, but otherwise we really liked the site and will be back.
The site is so clean and well maintained. Yes there are rules to be followed, but without them, the site wouldn't be as nice.
Lovely place to stay. Owners couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Everywhere was clean and tidy, we will be back.
Our very first trip out with a caravan, greeted with friendly faces and even helped us with backing onto the pitch, site is lovely and well maintained, amenities are great, we'll definitely stay there again.
