I rang ahead to book a table and mentioned that it was for a birthday. On arrival we spotted a table full of birthday balloons and banners, it made our day! The staff were great with the kids. Highly recommend, thanks so much!Rooms: 5/5

This is a good example of a Caravan and Motorhome Club site, with the added bonus of an on-site restaurant. It's clean, convenient and has all the charisma of an estate of suburban semis.  The wardens on the day were really affable and friendly.  The restaurant is OK, not cordon bleau, but clean and friendly for all that.  Closes early.  This site can be very busy, even out of season, and reservations for both site and restaurant are highly recommended.

Lovely location although a good mile and half to walk into Knaresborough. Beautiful, scenic walks.  The site was great, very clean and well kept  Playground: At the back of the site  Restrooms: Very clean  Dog-friendliness: Seemed to be plenty of dogs

What a site! This is how all campsites should be, exceptional clean, pitches all decent sizes, very quiet. Great staff and friendly neighbours. Thank you.Service: 5/5

visited in Jan 2022..Lovely clean place, good food, excellent local beers to try Staff in charge pleasant and helpful. bar/restaurant shuts at 20.00hrs ..bit early I thought, mebbe its open longer in summer?..

Place 1st class staff fantastic facilities superb only stop it being five star they have bar restaurant on site which was nice but if you had a dog you couldn't go in although site is dog friendly couldn't understand thatService: 5/5

Lovely clean & open site. Toilet/ shower blocks clean & tidy. Pitches roomy , spacious. Wardens friendly & helpful. Easy walks to Nidd Gorge & woodland by the river ftom the site. Ideal for dogs. Spacious dog walk on site. Knaresborough only a few miles away.  Food & drinks: The Guy Fawkes Inn easy few minutes walk away. Welcomes dogs. Food delicious!  Dog-friendliness: Good for dogs. Easy walks along the river &amp; through woodland from  the site.

Excellent site with great staff.... as always. The Wanderer Bar/Restaurant with takeaway options is quite superb. We missed it during COVID restrictions. If any CMC board members read this...... Please introduce more 'Wanderers' at more main club sites.... All of them for preference.... and ALL to this standard!...,.. Could be THE USP YOU DESPERATELY NEED!

Lovely weekend in Knaresborough at the club site  Spotless everywhere. Good size pitch. Best toilet block we have had for a long time. Restaurant only had takeaway food  which was fine for us - really enjoyed. Walked along the river into Knaresborough. Will book again.

We are staying on site until Sunday. Site is lovely but the bar on site will not let dogs in. They have lost out out on a bit of money from us alone.  We would have called in for a few drinks Saturday afternoon and Sunday but couldn't. They should change there rules as  caravaners have dogs
