This company allows their dangerous drivers to park on double yellows blocking the view for small children walking to the nearby primary school. I have complained multiple times and either been lied to that they'll do something about it, or they act belligerent and cry that it's private drivers so they have no control. I have seen their drivers park on bike lanes and leave their cars to go chat with friends, they run red lights constantly too. Please boycott this irresponsible company.
Used to be good but very disappointed with my last experience. Everyone be warned and watch your bank accounts if you put your card details in the app, they charged me for a trip that I booked on the app but I had already paid cash in the car, they then took the money out of my bank AS WELL. Having spoken to them multiple times over the phone, I was finally told that the driver denied taking any cash from me which is a complete lie and they conveniently don't have cctv in their car to prove it. So they have essentially stolen my money and wasted my time trying to resolve it. Will never be paying cash again and will only use them in an emergency as they are clearly not trustworthy.
I have ave booked a cab from them a few times, mostly to travel from my house to the train station and vice versa. Usually you get a cab within 5 minutes Hull area and they are driving you fairly quick to your destination. I think they are marginally cheaper from the other cab companies you can choose. The only thing I don't like is a they never help you with the luggages hence I don't tip them, b my last driver was coughing like crazy. I get that he wants to work to earn a living, but he could have used a mask at least to show some professionalism.
Booked a 7 seater for a trip and return. Had a phone call half an hour before pick up time to say they were going to have to send two cars. OK, these things happen. First car arrived and left. 20 minutes later still no car after being told they shouldn't be far behind each other. Rang up again to be told the second car was leaving a location 30 minutes away resulting in me having to cancel the 2nd car and find an alternative way of getting to where I needed to be. On the return trip I left the booking open for the 7 seater but wasn't very hopeful but the correct car turned up and no issues. Hopefully this was a one off as the booking process was very easy and painless.
Pre booked a taxi 5 hours in advance for a Saturday evening for 9pm from the town centre. After several phone calls each one said 'its on its way, about 10 minutes out' over 2 hours later still no taxi. We had to call a friend in the end to get us home. Absolutely shocking behaviour for a taxi firm.
Good, reliable reasonable taxi service. Arrived on time, if anything a tad early and got me to my destination using the quickest route. A very happy, safe journey at a reasonable and competitive price.
DONT BOOK VIA THE APP, especially if you have a train or need to be somewhere by a certain time. Call to book and explain that you HAVE to be at your destination by a certain time. I want to start by saying our driver, Omer, driver number 289, was AMAZING!! Staff at the office/call centre were awful. We booked a taxi on the app the day before for 6.20am. Our train was at 7am and we live an 8 minute drive from the station. When our taxi hadn’t arrived by 6.30 I called to ask how much longer it would be. The guy I spoke to told me we were a priority booking and it would be 5-10 mins. At 6.40 a car still hadn’t been assigned so I called again and spoke to the same guy who told me the car was 5 mins away and he would speak to the driver now. I didn’t hear anything so I called back a couple of minutes later and spoke to a woman who told me that she was “confused” as to why her colleague had told me that as they hadn’t even assigned a car to our booking, over 20 minutes after it was originally booked for. She explained that we shouldn’t have booked through the app as they wouldn’t know that we had a train at 7am so we should’ve called to book. She said she’d send us a car asap. Omer arrived at 6.50 and having 10 mins to get to the station we were sure we were going to miss our train. Omer was absolutely brilliant, he did everything to get us there and luckily we managed to jump on the train seconds before it pulled away. Thank you so much Omer! He was kind, calm, incredibly understanding and helpful. Very, very frustrated by the app and the first guy that I spoke to on the phone who clearly just lied to us twice.
Nice enough bloke, go me to where I needed to be on time. Can't really fault that. Taking 1 star for the car though. I was hardly expecting a limo, but this "well lived in" 2010 Ford Fiesta wasn't quite what I had in mind. Very scruffy, a bit dirty on the inside. If it was a mates car you might not bat an eyelid, but you would expect a bit better from a taxi.
I used the online booking service for a taxi to take us to the train station, 5.50 am it didn't turn up. Awful service, no excuses they are just useless .I rang to see where the taxi was spoke to a guy no apologies nothing he just couldn't care less. I had to call my daughter to get us there so we didn't miss the train.
I book a taxi on Tuesday at 00:30 but taxi driver was a bit late and I had to wait on the street by myself but other taxi drive from the same company come to pick up someone else in the same place and wait with me to make sure I get safe in to the taxi. I just would like to say big thank you to such a gentleman
