I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food is. The fish fillet in a nap was one of the best bits of battered fish I have ever had. Lovely views and quick service

Popular for great views over Fistral. Grilled lemon sole very fresh. Family friendly. Watch out for opening times. Dog friendly out side on veranda. Food nice but maybe not fantastic as expected of the name!

Had lunch here recently. Great views over the beach. We both had cod and chips accompanied by mushy peas and onion rings. This was followed by a cheese cake and white chocolate mousse. The fish and chips were delicious and so were the puddings. Fine dining it is not, the food is served in a take-away style box and you collect deserts and drinks from the fridge. This is reflected in the very reasonable prices.

Awful experience. Expected the best fish and chips in Newquay and instead ended up ill from it. Orange batter on the fish that was full of grease, chips that tasted frozen and a grilled salmon that was also greasy! Will not be back, locals have since told us that it’s not good and to try local pubs instead.

If you like food in plastic/cardboard boxes, this is the place for you! Helpful friendly staff, food quality was poor in my opinion, I ensured an aging prawn cocktail served in a transparent plastic box, it was not pleasant.
