Excellent service, I highly recommend them!

I came to them asking for them to undertake specialist repair work on my car. Some other places turned me down but Richardson's worked with me to get me where I wanted. 
Their work is high quality, their staff are friendly and they always went the extra mile.
They helped me greatly though out the repairs, giving me advice on the repairs I did and were honest and responsible about everything they did.

The ultimate proof is the before and after pictures.

Had my MOT done, they managed to fit me in at short notice. Very friendly and  knowledgeable, will definitely use again and would highly recommend.

RICHARDSONS COLCHESTER CAR GARAGE...
Do not take your car to this garage!! Unless you want to ripped off.
My car broke down, had it recovered to this garage for them to diagnose the problem and give me a quote. Before confirming with myself they went ahead and put a new fuel pump on the car, but this wasn't the problem. They then quoted me around £2,500 to fix the problem. I told them not to carry out the work and that I would have the car recovered. When arranging recovery the lady in the office said I needed to pay my invoice before they would release my car. Although I had never authorised any work to be carried out on my car. I refused to pay for the fuel pump which I did not ask to be fitted. The garage agreed that I shouldn't have to pay for the fuel pump but insisted I still have to pay for 4 hours labour! Resistantly i agreed to pay £130. After having my car recovered and opening the bonnet of my car I have realised that this garage have taken apart my engine and not replaced the parts! All glow plugs and injectors have been taken out and parts ripped off, put into a tub and left in my boot! They have ripped out live wires and just covered the ends of the wire in masking tape! How can this garage think they can get away with this !?

Would highly recommend Richardsons, been using them for years... Such a friendly bunch, honest, professional, trustworthy and reasonably priced too! MOT just passed with flying colours, no advisories and Ju even arranged for my car to be dropped back to me at work, brilliant service - always trust these guys to look after me and my pride n joy :-)
