We were enticed by the bubbly curries and dishes at their kiosk in Borough Market. We ordered the three seasonal Gujarati dishes and were not disappointed - wow they were delicious! We had what looked like a dark lentil dahl, a cauliflower curry and another veggie curry. It came with rice and the option of multiple sauces that made the dish completely delicious. It was so well seasoned and all of it was vegan. We were so happy.
Brilliant food & excellent service. Have been working near Borough market for so long but only found this gem of food spot today. highly recommend this for nice authentic indian food... Vegetarian options: All the food here are vegetarian options only. At least thats what i saw when i went for my lunch...
The food is fantastic, like literally the best vegan India food you’re going to get in London. The service, as other reviewers have pointed out, is terrible. I suspect that this is down to the owner understaffing what is a very busy stall in order to maximise their profit. One extra member of staff during the lunchtime rush would perhaps mean that the lady serving the food isn’t so brusque with customers.
It's decent, try increasing quantity of rice a bit. I am paying 9 pounds for this.
Ate at their Borough Market stall all 3 days we were in London. Their triple thali is delicious and the mango lassi is perfect! It was also great to chat to the guys running the stall - awesome lads!
I’ve eaten twice at their stall at Borough Market. I am not vegetarian or vegan, but I’m addicted to their food! I always order the Triple Thali. The Daal is incredible along with their vegetable curry and aloo curry. The sauces compliment so well and now I can’t stop myself from wanting to order weekly, even came on Sunday to eat it, but the market is not open then. Will definitely be ordering from them online!
Tried the papri chaat and it was really tasty, the presentation is nice as well. Kinda pricey ~£7 but expected in a place like Borough market.
I had the Thali and it was amazing! If I could have spicy Indian veggies after work at this level of quality, I would go everyday!
Never fails to hit the spot. True Gujarati recipes... and whilst amongst the bustle of the market, I've always felt appreciated by the chefs providing the goods. The veg is remarkably fresh and everything is totally full of authentic flavour. Superb food by equally excellent people.
Great vegan food - the thali is my go to meal at Borough market! Taking off 1 star as there are a couple of times out of the 100 times that I've had their food when the thali was a bit cold - happens when they are really busy and taking their food from the fridge and not allowing them to reheat well on the stove.. so maybe watch out for this!
