Wow. Where do I begin?! The customer service was exceptional from the get go. We checked in and I asked if someone could set up some balloons and banners for my daughters birthday in the lodge, nothing was a problem. We entered the lodge and it was all set up, even left her a birthday card and a helium balloon. The lodge was absolutely beautiful. The beds were so comfortable. The entertainment throughout the day and evening was brilliant for the kids, the swimming pool was lovely and clean. I honestly could go on and on but it was just the best week away. I'm just absolutely gutted the lodges are fully booked for winter break next year already but we will definitely be back!!!
Only stopped one night in the motel as a birthday treat but it was a very good room. It was clean apart from the kettle - needs descaling. The facilities onsite are tremendous. The Spar is well stocked. The receptionist last night was nice, helpful and lovely. The coffee shop did tremendous coffee. Overall, enjoyable.
This was my first time at Ribby Hall. Me and my son stayed for a 4 day break before Christmas and our stay was spectacular!!! There wasn’t a single thing i could fault about it. Great welcome , helpful, friendly staff, so many activities and the accommodation was comfortable, spacious and clean. Superb swimming experience which my son loved the slides. The treehouse and meet Santa was incredible. I would definitely recommend this place for an affordable, fun and relaxing family break.
I went to the hotel yesterday for lunch and we enjoyed a lamb kebab and squash salad in the sunshine and beautiful surroundings. Food was delicious and the staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. It was like going back in time, when people genuinely cared and wanted to make your time with them special. Go and enjoy!
Took the youngest for a swim in the holidays! She loves the water and there's a playground before and after you go in which makes all the difference to a 6 year old apparently! The pool is a fair size, and as you can imagine with a few slides and during school holidays it was very busy! Still had a great time though! My only complaint would be the amount of black bits floating in the water! It was commented on by a few people we spoke to whilst there! With so many people using the facility it's not surprising and I'm not sure what they could actually do to combat the problem! All on all a good experience and will return again, only for the children though! We did try and use the adult pool without the kids, but were told we couldn't pay to use it unless we were staying on site! We ended up going to the village that day instead! Playground: 2 brilliant playgrounds, the youngest loved playing on them before and after swimming!
Just a quick review about the Halloween Hunt. Absolutely FANTASTIC. Our first time attending and the whole family, including me and my husband had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this to everyone. Excellent value for money. Great job Thank you - see you next year
Short pre Xmas break to take our granddaughter to see Santa and do some of the Xmas activities. The whole experience was great. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The accommodation Ruby Lodge was fantastic well equipped and warm, even though it reached -8°C one night. Will definitely go again
Great experience again at Ribby Hall. Not been for 3 years and they have, finally , spent money on updating the bar, restaurant and entertainment area. Wow what a turnaround, much better fanily experience. We stayed in the farmhouse which is a 2 minute walk off site, the house is stunning!! Well worth the money, we comfortably had 4 adults and 6 children of different ages in there. We will definitely go back to Ribby and hopefully if we are lucky stay in the farmhouse again!!
Had a lovely 3 day stay in the motel which was comfortable,clean and tidy. Daily service too. Used the spa facilities at an extra charge but very well worth the money as a wonderful treat. I had gone alone so as a lone traveller I felt safe and secure. All staff at all areas of the site were polite and helpful. My only negative was that I had hoped to catch up on many months of lost sleep, however the walls are not as thick as they need to be if you don't wish to hear amorous goings on from the next room take some earplugs!!!! Otherwise we'll done all at Ribby Hall for a wonderful stay
Amazing family holiday resort that caters for all ages. A good selection of activities and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Accommodation is comfortable although the kitchen and cooking equipment were very basic. Would recommend to anyone with children
