We had our hen cocktail making masterclass by the young 19 year old who we called our blue eyed boy!! He was fantastic, very patient courteous and great with all the girls! He's a credit to revolution bar so glad he was our host as we had the most fun out the 2 hen parties that were there!! You made our weekend young man!! Food was great too.. gluten free catered for with no problems too 10/10 ! 😘

Having come to Nottingham to enjoy the day for my 50th birthday I was told by my student daughter to go to revs as you could get a plank of six shots for six pounds with a promotion ticket. On arrival  my daughter produced the voucher to a staff member and asked if it was valid , I then asked for three planks of six shots for our party and was told it would be eighteen pounds , when we had all three planks of six the bar staff member rang it through the till and came up with twenty four pounds . Confused a manager appeared we told him we checked with the girl serving us who quite blatantly to our faces said she had never seen or had talked about the voucher. This was a complete lie ,also the manager said the voucher was only valid in Sheffield as it had a lot of students after firstly asking which uni she attended. This also was a lie as we regularly use them in Lincoln.
    Myself and my wife are very disappointed with this  and will never go again ,I was a regular in Lincoln but I urge anyone not to bother with smirking lying Idiots that are employed in this chain .

Thursday evening - 10pm - not enough staff serving and one bar man was extremely poorly trained.  We had been waiting 30 minutes to be served at the first end of the bar.  The bar man walked up to our end of the bar and didn't ask who was next; he just served a man he recognised instead instead.  When we protested he just grinned at us and said 'Well I didn't know who was next!'.  When the customer was asked who he thought was next he just grinned back.  Bar work is hard work - I've been there.  However there are basic skills you should have.  We also didn't appreciate his continued grinning as he continued to serve his mate.  We were eventually served by a woman who was great but I won't ever got back and will give my honest opinion to others.

Apparently the bacon is pre cooked in the burger I had which was more like ham. #chefcantfrysomebacon!!
