Story

Situated at the top of Calton Street, this site has been occupied for centuries. Mr Gregory's house was built here in 1674, on the site of an even older mansion. In 1810, Ichabod Wright moved his bank into part of Gregory's mansion, where a new banking house was built in c1860. Wright's Bank was absorbed by the Capital and Counties Bank, later taken over by Lloyds. The bank closed in 1995 and became a Lloyds No.1 Bar.

A nice bar hidden amongst the brick clad building around the Lace Street Area, it is a gem worthy to be crowned as one of the unique bars in Nottingham. Suitable for friends, family and students in large as well as small groups seeking good time and food in a reasonable price.

Great place" staff are friendly" prices are good..  but the toilets can seen a little far when your upstairs with kids.
