Beautifully decorated restaurant! Food was yummy but somewhat ordinary and nothing worth screaming about for the price paid. The biggest disappointments probably just preference were the salad dishes!Food: 3/5
Food was so salty it was practically inedible. Ordered the pumpkin risotto "as recommended by the waiter" but requested it without the Guanciale. Im not one to not finish a plate even if its not good but food was so salty I took a few bites and left it as shown in the picture. To make matters worse, and I'm not sure if its because we were there "late" i.e 9pm on a Saturday night, but no staff came to check on us. When we asked for the cheque and they came to collect our plates, the waiter asked if I was done with my food seeing as the plate was almost untouched I said yes and expressed how salty it was, they asked if they can get me anything else while practically walking away, so I naturally said no - did not even bother to remove the order from the cheque. Honestly very disappointed and displeased with a restaurant that has such high rating and is on the pricey end.
We came here using our virgin experience days voucher for the 5 course meal for 2. The Petersham is tucked away about 5 minutes walk away from Covent garden and the interior is stylish and grand. The service staff were kind and friendly and took our drinks order promptly whilst showing us to our table. We ordered the old fashioned which tasted a little washed out and a white wine which was perfect. The food arrived quickly in succession and we enjoyed elements of it such as dessert and the beeroot and celeriac dish. However other dishes seemed to lack creativity and favour. The meal cost us an additonal £40 for service and for one drink each so all in all around £80 per a person for everything. I would say for this price range you can have much better food.
Beautiful restaurant and decoration. The food is good and has some creative options. You can also enjoy watching the kitchen. The service is also good. I did put 4 stars just because it’s very loud inside and would not recommend for people that enjoy quit discussion and intimacy.
Brilliant! One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a while. We opted for the pre theatre menu and the 3 adults all picked different options which meant we all tried a bit of each option. Loved every meal and want to come back! Staff were fantastic to my daughter and her child’s menu came promptly. Finally, interior was gorgeous. Table decor has inspired me massively for my wedding this summer. Was not expecting such a lovely experience for what was only a last minute find and booking before the ballet.

Very cute deli beside the restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious. There was a variety of healthy options. There was the possibility for indoor and outdoor seating. The interior was very charming, and there was even a flower station at the back of the deli.
Do not recommend to have afternoon tea here. Service is on the very low end. The value is so far the worst out of all the afternoon tea I had Sketch, Kai Mayfair, the Coral Room. There’s no consistency in the food they provide for the afternoon tea, I’ve seen many different things from the past, and didn’t like what we had. The server brought alcoholic drink to me without asking if I’m allergic, and I am. Thank god my friend reminded me… the hostess is rude, the server didn’t give us any attention through the whole experience. Not surprised there weren’t many customers. The atmosphere is cute tho, love the interior design.
Beautiful restaurant with some of the tastiest food we have had in London. Pasta and meat were superb. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed despite the restaurant being upscale. Definitely recommend it.Food: 5/5
