Plenty of selection food for pets. If interested in reptiles give it a visit. Some interesting pets in store.
The store was closed despite checking out the opening hours online. Very disappointed child cried at the door!
Was greeted today by a very rude man by yous need to make it quick I'm closing soon that was 2.45pm was shocked ok asked for few things they did not suit because of the price he replied to tell me he's the cheapest in Belfast. Not true because I got what I needed else and cheaper. As we were leaving two young lady's come into shop and he did not greet them the same way. A bit of manner and customer service would go a long why. Plus maybe some form of animal welfare should be in offer as I saw lots of larges snakes and reptile in tiny little boxes very sad.
Purchased my first Ball/Royal python a few weeks ago from the Belfast store. Great selection of morphs with no complaints of the one I purchased.. gorgeous snake, ate like normal the next day and still hasn't refused a meal since. Some craic in store aswell. Recommended.
All the service is brilliant, fresh food for animals, knowledgeable staff. Brilliant
This shop is the best reptile shop for reptile enthusiasts in Northern Ireland. Period. They are very friendly and provide the best advice whether you are new to reptile keeping or a more advanced. Reptile Hunters also stock a variety of species which is a welcomed changed to other stores that have the same animals every time you go in. I would highly recommend this shop.
Very nice store and the staff are very helpful. He shows the animal and tell something about them. Recommend to go there. And if someone wants to buy a reptile this is best place where you can get one. Snakes, leguaan, spiders, mouse, rat etc...
Awesome shop. Great atmosphere. Amazing customer services. Beautiful animals. Extremely clean and modern. Great unbeatable prices and a pleasure to visit. I would recommend this as the best reptile shop in Northern Ireland.
Terrible Experience We inherited a Horsfield Tortoise with very little equipment. It came with it's own table that had been made from an old IKEA writing desk. I made a new one with plans from Pintrest and pictures from Amazon. I needed a heat lamp and holder, water bowl, feeding tray, heat mat, food and the bedding/substrate. Probably a bit of advice too. As we live near Pets at Home we called in there first to see what they had to offer, and for the children to look at the rabbits and gerbils etc. When we entered the Reptile Hunters shop I was surprised at how clean and professional the shop was, they had a number of snakes, lizards and tortoises on display, all looked healthy and well cared for. There were 2 members of staff and one other customer, however it took so long for someone to approach us we were about to leave. I told the staff member I needed a heat lamp for a tortoise and when he asked me what fitting I needed and I told him I didn't know he looked at me like I was stupid. He started to explain the difference between a screw in fitting and a push in so i told him there wasn't a bulb holder, again he looked at me incredulously and asked me what kind of tank it was in. I realised I hadn't told him it was on a table and when I did the other staff member openly laughed at me and he told me that a lamp for that would cost me about £60, I informed him that as I had just been laughed at he wouldn't be getting my £60. I have never been met with such open rudeness or discourtesy, I was embarrassed in front of my family and I wish I had confronted them more about their lack of manners. If they are representatives of the reptile keeping community then I certainly will be sticking to cats and dogs. On our way home we called back to Pets at Home whose staff were helpful and courteous even though they were extremely busy, and gave them our business instead.
As usual Eddie always helpful an plenty of good advice. On reptile care and whether it's feeding or housing of your reptile always spot on, I would highly recommend Reptile Hunters as the go to reptile shop in belfast or his lisburn store.
