Spotted this café by chance. Really friendly staff. Got the sandwich special. It came and looked lovely, presented on a cake stand. Quirky decor and great atmosphere.
This is a delightful and quirky tea room. It is excellent value for money. We paid £18 for lunch for four. This was worth every penny It included free top ups on your pot of tea and the most amazing home made chocolate caramel cake. Extremely kind and friendly staff. Free reading materials were included. Just delightful. People make places and the staff were so attentive. I really appreciated this as my sister and I took my parents and they both have mobility issues. They managed the two steps to the toilets. Thank you so much for your hospitality. You are a little hidden gem.
Called in & had reminiscence every day meal. Consisting of toastie cake or scone & pot of tea or coffee. Unbelievably priced at £4:20. Food was top notch & staff were as friendly as you would ever meet. 1st time here. Wont be last. Well done
Stepping into this amazing tea room is like stepping back into the past. A relaxing and very welcoming place that serves fresh homemade food everyday. I had the Stew with a massive slab of homemade bread and butter. I was able to relax and even after I had finished eating and drinking my tea I was still welcome to stay and look around, I wasn't rushed to free up the table. They even filled my pot of tea back up for free! If your in the area, West terrace near the clock give the place a go! 5* from me!
Warm and welcoming, a great place to meet new friends and enjoy a cup of tea or three! Offering proper homemade food at very reasonable prices. A gem of a cafe. Highly recommended.
Visited tea rooms today for the first time with my elderly mother , it was like stepping back in time , especially in the quiet room at the back of the shop, we loved looking at the old furniture , mam remembered a lot of stuff from her childhood. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and the food and drinks are very reasonably priced, lovely homemade cakes, mam can't wait to go back.
A real gem in Redcar. Such lovely, friendly staff and a very relaxing atmosphere. Had an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia thanks to the eclectic decor and 60s music. Only had time for a quick cuppa today but will be back for longer next time to sample the food when I'm next in the area. The tea room is a superb place to take anyone living with dementia.
Went to Redcar today called in this little Tea rooms were I met Pam& Pete who run this Beautiful little place .Lots of things to see and a very warm welcome. Lovely Teas coffees cakes and scones etc.All fitted out with lovely furniture. Vintage and much more. Thank you both of you and I hope you succeed and keep going for Many years. Mary Parry
Lovely tea room for meeting my family or friends for a catch up , lovely for a snack or a dinner if you feel hungry with a great variety daily on lunches and cakes . Pam and Peter are lovely and always keen to be friendly and go the extra mile on special occasions like my granddaughters birthdays or Christmas occasions that are put on every year with father Christmas included x
